9. Appendix A Extending SuisseID SuisseID can basically be extended in two different ways. 1. Directly by the user (see chapter 9.1) 2. Via SuisseID shop portal (see chapter 9.2) 9.1 Extension directly by the user 30 and 10 days before their SuisseID expires, the users receive an automatically generated reminder mail about extension. Fig. 8 This contains the following link: a) Login Make sure that your SuisseID is connected to your computer and click on SuisseID Log-in (Fig. 9) and enter your PIN. Now SuisseID is checked and prepared for the continued procedure. Fig. 9 b) Period of validity Select the desired period of validity (Fig. 10) and click on Next. Fig. 10 Note: If SuisseID is valid for longer than three months at the time of extension, a corresponding warning will appear. If you extend SuisseID at this point in time anyway, the rest of the period of validity will expire. 8
c) SuisseID Mobile Service In the next step you can activate the use of SuisseID on a mobile device (SuisseID Mobile Service). Click on Add to the shopping cart (Fig. 11). Fig. 11 d) Purchasing process Now carry out the purchasing process. Please note that, during registration, you enter your data for the account (login) or create an account (registration). This means you can keep track fully. e) Confirmation After the purchasing process you receive the confirmation. Now click on Activate (Fig. 12) Fig. 12 9
f) Activation Click on Activate. (Fig. 13) Fig. 13 g) Initialisation The extension has been successfully activated and is available for initialisation. Please observe the following steps here by clicking on Initialise (Fig 14) or directly at Hans Muster Fig Extension of several SuisseIDs with central billing If you want to offer your employees or customers the extension of SuisseID in a simplified way and without itemised billing, you can purchase several extension licences centrally. Please contact us to purchase these licences. It will also be possible to see these licences in your shop portal under My products. Fig
30 and 10 days before their SuisseID expires, the users receive an automatically generated reminder mail about extension. Fig. 16 This contains the following link: a) Login Fig.17 The users make sure that their SuisseID is connected to their computer and click on SuisseID Log-in (Fig.) and enter their PIN. Now SuisseID is checked to see if it is valid and prepared for the continued procedure. b) Checking availability of an extension licence financed in advance It is checked if this SuisseID was ordered via the account in which extension licences are now stored. If this is the case, an available licence will be allocated and the SuisseID user is taken directly to activation without a purchasing process. Dieses enthält den folgenden Link: Hans Muster hans.muste@test.ch Fig. 18 Alternatively the extension licences can be sent as with the licences for new SuisseIDs directly from the shop portal via the menu item My products (see chapter 5.). The person who receives the link for the extension therefore also skips the purchasing process. 11
10. Appendix B Ordering replacement SuisseID Customers who have lost or blocked their SuisseID can order a replacement card. In the following you will find the information you need for a replacement SuisseID. You have two options for ordering a replacement SuisseID: 1. Directly by the user (see chapter 10.1) 2. Via SuisseID shop portal (see chapter 10.2) 10.1 Order of a replacement SuisseID directly by the user A replacement SuisseID can be ordered easily online. You can start the process with the following link. Now follow the instructions in the process: Fig Purchase of several replacement SuisseID licences via shop portal If you also want to manage the licences for replacement SuisseIDs centrally or purchase several at the same time, you can do this in the SuisseID shop portal too. Please contact us to purchase these licences. The links can then be sent via the menu item My products (see chapter 5.). The person who receives the link for the replacement SuisseID therefore skips the purchasing process. Important: Please note that the SuisseID which is to be replaced has to be revoked after ordering a replacement SuisseID (see chapter 11.). 12
11. Appendix C Blocking SuisseID (revoking) With blocking (techn. "revoking"), SuisseID is blocked permanently and rendered unusable. To block a SuisseID you have two options available (see chapters and 11.2.). 1. You are in possession of the PIN sheet (see chapter 11.1.) 2. You are not in possession of the PIN sheet (see chapter ) 11.1 With TIN / PUK sheet If you are in possession of your TIN / PUK sheet, which was sent separately by post when you purchased SuisseID, you can block SuisseID online. Enter your token serial number (e.g. 7BFF09E1AF899837) and also the TIN and PUK without spaces, select a reason and click on Next. Now follow the instructions Without TIN / PUK sheet If you are not in possession of your TIN / PUK sheet, the blocking can be done offline. Fig. 20 Here you need the form published on the following page. Fill in the form completely, sign it by hand and send it with the required enclosures to the following address: SuisseID Sternmatt 6 PO Box Kriens 2 Note on SuisseID Business (with company entry) Essentially a SuisseID can be revoked only by the owner. The only exception is with SuisseID Business (with company entry). Especially when people leave your organisation, please remember that a SuisseID with a company entry has to be blocked. In this case the applicant is not necessarily the same as the owner. If not identical, he or she must definitely be authorised to sign according to the commercial register or have the corresponding authorisation (authority). 12.
