1 How to Register To Register for Contren Connect, you must have an access code. If you have not purchased one, please see our How to Purchase page. If you have an access code, please click on the Login/Register button on the left side of the website. You will then be prompted to register as a student, instructor or administrator. Select the appropriate field. Note: Your Contren Connect course uses pop-up windows for quizzes and other interactive features. To utilize the full capabilities of Contren Connect, please disable your pop-up blocker. Disabling the pop-up blocker function is described in the Help section of your browser. Welcome to the registration and login page for Contren Connect. Students If you have not yet registered to gain access to your online resource, click "Register" below. After just a few steps you'll have access to the latest tools in online educational technology (remember to write down your username and password!). If you have already registered, then simply click the "Login" button. Instructors Administrators You should now be on the License Agreement and Privacy Policy page. You must accept in order to proceed with the registration process.

2 Next, you will come to the Access Information page. Do you have a Pearson Education Account? Select one. Yes o Enter your Login Name and Password OR No o Create and enter a login name and password that will be easy for you to remember. They will be used each time you login from this point forward so please remember to store this information in a secure location for easy reference Not Sure o Enter your address and search to find out if you have an account. Access Code Enter your Access Code. Your access code can be found inside the front cover of the booklet that came packaged with your book or in the that was sent to you after you purchased from OASIS. Click the Next button in the lower right hand corner of the screen when you are ready to move on. OR

3 Account Information You should now be on the Account Information section of the Steps to Register page. Read below for instructions on each of the subsections for this page. If you already had a Pearson Education account some of this information may be filled in. Please confirm that the information is correct. Personal Information Confirm or enter your first name, last name, and address where indicated. Note: You are not able to change your first and last name after you register.

4 School Location Select the country of your school from the list/drop down menu. Next, enter the zip/postal code. If your school is not listed, select Other from the bottom of the list and type in your school name, city, and state (e.g. Jim s School of Construction, Newburgh, NY) Note: You are not able to change your zip code after you register. Security Question This question is used to protect your account and personal information. In the event that you contact us and your identity must be confirmed, a product support representative will ask you the question that you select. Confirm or select the question you want and type in the answer in the space provided. (e.g. Pets name or date of birth, etc..) May We Contact You? Select if you would like information about other Pearson products and services. Click the Next button in the lower right hand corner of the screen when you are ready to move on.

5 Confirmation & Summary You should now be on the Confirmation & Summary section of the Steps to Register page set. Congratulations! You have successfully registered! You will receive a confirmation ; however it is recommended that you print out this page for your records. Note: it is highly recommended that you write down your user name and password in the event that you forget it. To retrieve a forgotten user name or password, your address is required.
