FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Briefcase 1) What is the purpose of the Briefcase? The Briefcase provides an attendee with a place to store and organize environment content, such as documents, links to presentations, scheduled chat archives, contacts and giveaways. 2) Can I take away any of the interesting documents I find in the environment? Absolutely. Any document you want to carry with you can be opened for viewing and downloaded from the viewing window. You can also click the Download button in the lower right hand corner of your briefcase to yourself content from your briefcase or download it to your desktop. General 3) What types of Presentations can be viewed in the Presentation Theatre? You can view the following types of live (specific start or end time) or on-demand presentations: Keynotes 4) Where do I see Live or On-Demand Presentation Listings? You may view listings of Live or On-Demand Presentations in any of the following locations: Information button in the navigation menu with link to keynote and panels

3 Agenda button in the navigation menu Presentation Listings in individual sponsored or environment-level locations 5) Where can I find the Agenda? The Agenda is available: At the top of the navigation bar Under the Information button on the Navigation bar select the keynote and panels 6) What are tracks? Tracks are a way for Producers to better organize content for events or environments by assigning a track that further defines the theme or subject matter of a piece of content. This leads to a better experience for attendees who can follow a single track or multiple tracks based on their interest. For example, a Technology Show may the following tracks - Developer Track, Business Track, Press Track. Professional Networking 7) What tools are available for Professional Networking? Group Chat Different locations have their own group chats to facilitate communication among the attendees who are in the same location at the same time. Scheduled Chat These chats are scheduled to run at a specific time interval, on predefined topics, often with guest speakers. They are available in the Discover Zone QBars and the Solutions Experience Area. Private Chat Engage with other attendees representatives in private one-on-one chats. Messages Send/Receive to/from other attendees and sponsor staff. People Search A great tool with search options to help attendees find people within the environment. Exchanging VCards Attendees can exchange virtual business cards with each other. 8) What are Scheduled Chats? Scheduled chats are commonly used as a targeted way to gauge interest in specific topics. They are also used as a supplement following a live webcast in the Presentation Theatre giving speakers a chance to further elaborate on popular topics and giving attendees a chance to ask questions that were not addressed in a Live Q & A session. A scheduled chat listing usually includes: A specific topic / theme to be discussed A brief abstract / description Start and end time Chat leader(s) or subject matter expert(s) to host the session Scheduled Chats can be created at the environment-level (e.g. within the Solutions Experience Area

4 and the Discover Zone QBars) or at the in a specific sponsored location. They are typically launched from a button. Speakers may use a webcam to deliver their scheduled chat message. Search 9) Can I search for other people? In general there is a People Search menu item in the Search tab on the Navigation bar. Security 10) Are ON24 Virtual Environments secure websites? Attendees can only get into an environment with login and password authentication, which is setup during the Registration process. 11) What information can attendees obtain about me? By registering for the Virtual Forum, you understood and agreed that the following details will be visible to other attendees during the Virtual Forum: your name, company name, industry and address. If you do not want these details to be visible, you will need to change your profile settings at the beginning of the Virtual Forum event to stop your details being visible.

6 Canned Responses for Live Q&A PRE-EVENT Has the event begun? Should I hear someone talking? The event will start at the top of the hour. Thank you for your participation. EVENT START Have you started? I can t hear anything. The webcast has begun. You can refresh the player console by pressing F5 (Command+R on a Mac) on your keyboard. The slides aren t moving. I don t have any sound. Please try refreshing the console by pressing F5 (Command+R on Macs). If the problem persists, try closing the event window and then re-launching the event. Be sure to test your system for compatibility by referring to the Help section on the player console, or the Test Your System feature on the lobby launch page. Is there a dial-in number? What number should I call? The audio is being streamed through your computer - there is no dial in number. Please make sure your have your computer speakers turned on. It may help to refresh the player console by pressing F5 (Command+R on Macs). Your computer must have a soundcard and speakers or headphones. Please refer to the Help section on the player Console to test your system for compatibility. DURING THE EVENT No Audio? The presentation is streaming Flash audio. If refreshing with F5 (Command+R for Macs) didn't work, you may have to reload your browser. You must have Flash installed, as well as a soundcard and speakers or headphones. Please refer to the Help section on the player console to test your system for compatibility. Video? The presentation is a streaming video and audio. Both sound and video will be streamed to your media player. Preferably, a high bandwidth is needed for you to view the presentation. The presentation is streaming audio with slides - there is no video feed. Echo? We recommend checking to see if you have 2 instances of the webcast running, closing one may solve the echo problem. If not, try refreshing the console (F5 on PCs). Thank you.

7 Slides? Slides have been advancing. Please try refreshing the window (F5 on PCs, Command+R on Macs). If that does not work, please try exiting and logging back in. Thank you for your participation.
