We like to keep in close contact with our clients and make sure that communication is maintained at all times.

We create storyboards and shooting schedules, then our film crew brings the production to life.

2 WHO WE ARE The Production Company specialises in professional video production for corporate and broadcast audiences, from concept to completion. We create high quality video productions for broadcast, online, presentations, exhibitions and training programmes as well as filming events and conferences. The Production Company takes your idea and applies fresh and intelligent thinking to create a unique video for your company or brand. We are a tight knit team and our approach to video production is one of complete professionalism. We like to keep in close contact with our clients and make sure that communication is maintained at all times. We pride ourselves on offering a full production service, pre-production, filming and editing is all covered by our highly experienced team. We create storyboards and shooting schedules, then our film crew brings the production to life. After the shoot we transfer the footage on to our secure storage server then perform a professional edit and colour grade, adding any graphics if necessary. Our in-house team consists of a Director/Camera Operator, two Editors, a Producer and Sound Technician. We also work with a number of tried and trusted freelance camera operators that help us on various shoots.

We utilise a wide range of 4K and HD kit to suit the specific needs and styles of the documentaries we work on. These can be utilised in a variety of different genres and help shape the story we re telling. The majority of people we interview are not professional actors but the general public, so our first priority is making sure our interviewees feel comfortable. We believe a comfortable and confident speaker on camera enhances any production, as well giving our interview subject a great experience. We always plan our shoots so we have plenty of time to conduct our interviews, ensure we cover all of the material we need and to re-shoot any key parts of the process if needed.

10 camera equipment We have a selection of different cameras for all situations from the Sony FS5/FS7 and Blackmagic Ursa to the more lightweight Sony A7Sii. We also have speciality cameras including timelapse cameras and the DJI Phantom drone. Other cameras can be sourced for specific requirements. We also have a vast range of camera grips, lighting, gimbals and sound equipment. Back in our office we have a green screen and studio setup as well as our Avid post production edit suites.

11 post production Once we ve shot the production we transcode the footage onto our 60tb servers and then through to our edit suites. This is where everything comes together and the production comes to life. As well as editing the footage we ve shot, we also add in any necessary graphics, titles or music. We like to work in collaboration with our clients every step of the way during the edit process so that they are happy with all the choices that we are making. We usually work by sending across different drafts of the edit online so our clients can view their production remotely without having to visit the studio. However, if our clients wish, they can come to our offices for edit meetings: this can make the process smoother as we can make edit decisions and implement the changes straight away. Over the years, our final delivery process has changed from VHS to secure online outputs. Here our clients can view and download at the quality they desire. We also output for broadcast and occasionally DVD. We hold all our clients footage ( and master productions) securely on our internal servers and have an inhouse Data Protection Officer who is in charge of GDPR and data compliance.
