Samsung wanted a PWA (Progressive Web App) for mobile users that would leverage the Web development effort already invested in the estore and would also shorten the development cycle to make for a speedy launch. What the Samsung PWA does The Samsung PWA icon is stored on the homescreen of the user and expands to full screen mode on click making for easy accessibility. It is very fast since it leverages the local browser cache to store a lot of static content like images, static text, CSS etc. This cuts down the load time of the PWA web pages on mobile devices.
