SATK DPCV is an high temperature wall-mounted HIU for instantaneous production of domestic hot water with a mechanical control and a kpa differential pressure control valve. During the production of domestic hot water the modulating valve (4), with a manual preregulation on it, controls the primary flow rate according to the requested domestic hot water flow rate. Heating circuit is always on when there s no request of domestic hot water, it s recommended to provide a zone or thermostatic valve with it. Before installation it s recommended to carry out accurate flushing of the pipes of the system in order to remove any residue or impurities that could endanger correct operation of the HIU. It s recommended to provide a strainer on primary flow. If water has a hardness level higher than F, a softening treatment is compulsory.

2 SATK DPCV domestic hot water preregulation settings SATK DPCV mechanical regulation allows to set the required domestic hot water temperature according to primary flow temperature, turning the black handle (A). Handle regulation, from a value (corresponding to open valve), to a value (corresponding to a closed valve), allows to set DHW temperature in a range. The range can change when primary supply temperature changes. raphics below can help during DHW pre-regulation operations, always related to primary supply temperature. N.B. SATK DPCV correct regulation is guaranteed only with primary constant supply flow temperature. 6 Differential pressure control valve Differential pressure regulating valves control the differential pressure, according to a fixed calibration value set by the producer: kpa. The best application for this type of valves is zone type installation, because it does not require any calibrating operation and it is not possible to alter their setting. The normal fixed calibration values are able to guarantee adequate pressures with a correct functioning of the zone derivations with thermostatic valves.
