Definitions / Terminology in ADONIS (2) Application library (method library) contains the definition of the modelling method, e.g. of the model types and classes. Model type Grouping of classes. Class Template for the objects created by an ADONIS user; owns class attributes that steer for example Model the graphic representation of an object. Specimen of a model type created by an ADONIS user; owns model attributes that contain general. Object information about the model Specimen of a class created by an ADONIS user; owns (object) attributes, where information describing the model content is stored

Starting ADONIS About the Windows Program Menu By selecting the program: - 8 -
Login (1) Login as ADONIS user: 1. Enter the user name, password, database name and desired working language. 2. Activate the option login as ADONIS user 3. Click Login. 1. Login as system user: 1. Enter the database name and the desired working language. 2. Activate the option login as system user 3. Click Login
Login (2) Login Details: The ADONIS database must have been created beforehand. The user account must have been created in advance by the ADONIS administrator. User name and password are case-sensitive. The password must have a minimum length of three characters. The user name and the (first) password are determined by the ADONIS administrator. Note: Depending on the ADONIS configuration, this login window can look quite different: The options for ADONIS or system user login may be deactivated, only one language may be available or the whole login process may run automated (the login window does not appear at all)
Change Password For security reasons, the password should be changed after starting ADONIS for the first time and then be modified at regular intervals. Change Password: Menu "Extras" Menu item "Change password"

The entries matching the search criteria are displayed in the corresponding hierarchy
Shrink all/expand all In selection lists with hierarchy levels (i.e. trees), it is possible to expand or shrink all elements of all levels. You can see the status of the elements with the icons ("expanded" or "shrunk" ). When expanding, all elements of all levels of the list hierarchy are displayed.
