5 Accessories SCREW THREAD PROTECTOR CAMERA AND LENS RUBBER COVER Plug in/unplug the rubber cover into/off the screw thread protector. Screw on/off the screw thread protector on/from tip. 1 2 Aim MIRROR 3 Fixed 4 Align hole in mirror adapter with side LED. Then tighten lock against mirror adapter. 5

9 OPERATION Instant mode USB Video Scope Snapshot - Click button or space bar from the application window, or press the Snap Shot button on the probe handle to take a photo. 2. Video record - Click button or Ctrl + R key on the application window to start recording video. The red light on the application widow will turn on when recording is activated. To stop recording, click the Rec button on the application. 3. Mirror - Click horizontally. or Ctrl + M key to flip the image 9

10 4. Zoom in - Slide the bar to zoom in on the image from x1.0 to x4.0, You can also click the key on your PC to zoom in, click the key on your PC to zoom out. 5. LED brightness decrease - Click on the probe handle or the key on your keyboard to decrease LED brightness. 6. LED brightness increase - Click on the probe handle or the key on your keyboard to increase LED brightness. 7. Boost - Click or F1 key to enhance the brightness under very dark environment. 8. Rotate - click or F2 key to rotate image counterclockwise LED side light - Click, or F3 key. 10. LED brightness indicator. 11. Preview both photos/videos or Alt + A key. 12. preview photos only, or Alt + P key. 13. Preview videos only, or Alt + V key. 14. Click to previous or PgUp key. 15. Display 4 latest photo/video, press 1 ~ 4 key to preview Click to next or PgDn key. Click or ESC to enter Live Mode. 10

11 Browse Mode Press 2nd TAB on the screen or press any picture/video on the preview window. The Browse mode will not function if no pictures/videos are in the folder. USB Video Scope Mirror Click or Ctrl or F2 + M key to the image horizontally. 12 Delete Select the image and click on the upper right of the photo / video image or the Delete key Click or ESC to exit Delete Mode and return to Live Mode. 12

13 Setting Mode Destination folder set up USB Video Scope Select the destination folder to save images and videos, click to change setting or to skip and keep the default setting. (C:\Users\Documents\USB ATS BORESCOPE) Time Stamp set up USB Video Scope Date and time will be saved automatically. To change the time stamp format, select an option from the Time Stamp screen. Click or ESC to exit Setting Mode and return to Live Mode. 13

15 CAUTIONS FOR USE This product is designed for industrial use only. Do not use the system for human or any other biological inspection. Do not use this product in a fuel tank or other dangerous environments such as gasoline or alcohol storage tanks. Do not clean this product with corrosive liquid, such as alcohol. Do not try to disassemble the product, it may cause electric shock and could damage the unit. Please use only recommended components or accessories. Unapproved accessories and components may cause damage. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for long period of time. Store the system in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. The probe tube contains a series of small wires that control the optics and electronics of the camera tip. To ensure long-term reliability, do not bend the probe insert tube more than 180 degrees, and always bend the probe insert tube in as large an arc as possible during usage and storage. Do not leave probe in a hot engine. Engine heat will damage the probe. Camera lens cleaning: Use cleaning liquid and swab provided in the cleaning kit for camera head cleaning. Only remove probe from engine when arrow is in line with the camera body. Removing probe while in the articulating position will damage the probe and the articulating function of the camera. 15

16 Troubleshooting Problem System installation fails or is unstable after installation. Red LED light on console, indicating system is functioning correctly, does not turn on. Screen freezes. Solution Try different USB port or PC/laptop. Close application, plug in the USB and run the application again. Check if the screen display shows the image from the probe tube. If yes, close this application, plug in USB and run the application again. If still frozen, shutdown and restart the Borescope. 16
