6 SETUP WIZARD The first step in setting up the Multizone Controller. 2. Panels Used to program configuration and group parameters when using the partitioning. (GLW3DQHO1DPH 3DQHO 6(7$8;6 ',6!',6! - OR - Wizards Menu the desired CONFIG ( ) This setting will be used to determine the layout of each room or configuration. Up and Down buttons scroll A-Z, space and 0-9. Right & Left buttons move to next/previous space. the desired Scene Group (01-64) A group is a collection of zones that is assigned a group number. A single zone may be in multiple groups. Up and Down buttons select Panels (01-31) Saves programming and returns to Main Screen. Right & Left buttons toggle Include or Exclude. Up and Down buttons scroll A-Z, space and 0-9. Right & Left buttons move to next/previous space. Up and Down buttons to Enable or Disable the Auxiliary zones from the panel being programmed. Right & Left buttons toggle between 1 and 2.
7 SETUP WIZARD 3. Zones Used to program zone information, including zone, group, channel and device type. Up and Down buttons to select PANEL (01-31) Edit Zone Name using up to 16 characters. Up and Down buttons scroll A-Z, space and 0-9. Right & Left buttons move to next/previous space. the Group (01-64) for this zone. Use this setting to select the group number that this zone will be assigned to under this configuration. UP and Down buttons scroll CHANNEL (1-8, X) Change mapping of Channel number to actual Load connection. No two Channels can have the same Channel number, so X is used as a place holder until the new number becomes available. Up or Down button selects TYPE (REL, DIM) This setting is used to select either a dimming or a non-dimming Load. Up or Down selects LOAD TYPE (FLOR, INC) INC is for Incandescent, Magnetic Low-Volt, Cold Cathode, Tungsten and Neon Loads. FLOR is for Mark X Fluorescent Loads. Saves programming and returns to Main Screen. 7
8 SETUP WIZARD 4. Aux Devices Used to setup auxiliary zones. Auxiliary zones are loads which are not directly wired to the D3208 being accessed. 6(783:,=$5'!!%DVLF 3 times.!$x['hylfhv 3$1(/ 6(7$8;'(9,&( 6(/WR&RQWLQXH Up or Down buttons to select PANEL (01-31) Right or Left buttons to select ZONE (1-8) Saves programming and returns to Main Screen. 5. NOTE: Reset or Restore Factory Defaults There is no reset function on the D3208. There is also no way to restore factory defaults from the front panel. 9 CLOCK WIZARD The second step in setting up the Multizone Controller. It provides basic Time and Daylight Savings settings. If there are multiple Controllers on the LCnet, all will synchronize with the first unit programmed. &/2&.:,=$5'!!6HW'DWH7LPH $GMXVW7LPH $0 $GMXVW'DWH 78( 'D\OLJKW6DYLQJ $XWR$GMXVW21! Right and Left buttons are used to select hour, minute, second or AM/PM positions. Up and Down buttons scroll 01-12, 01-59, AM/PM. After settings are complete, press /. Right and Left buttons are used to select month, day and year positions. Up and Down buttons scroll thru each setting. After settings are complete, press /. Up and Down buttons toggle between ON and OFF. Set to ON position if Daylight Savings is observed in your area. Set to OFF to disable the setting. Press / to return to the Main Screen. 9
10 SCENE WIZARD Allows for the programming and operation of up to 32 lighting scenes. Naming of device and lighting scenes gives user-friendly control of lighting loads. 1. Call Scene Used to choose which of the 32 programmed scenes are to be called or activated.!&doo6fhqh 6HOHFWVFHQH 6&(1( the desired scene to call (01-32) 6&(1( 6HW)DGHGHI! Up or Down button to call the scene with a desired fade time (default, 0:00 seconds to 2h00m) Press the / button to save and proceed. Up or Down button to select the Scene Bank 01-08, 09-16, or Press the / button to save and proceed. Cancel Previous Returns display to the Main Screen SHORT CUT From the Main Screen, use the Left or Right buttons to select which Scene Bank to activate (01-08, 09-16, or 25-32) 12

When the Scene Lock is ON, only the Scene buttons and the Dim/ Bright buttons are disabled.!&doo6fhqh 4 times.!6fhqh/rfn 6FHQH*URXS 6FHQH/RFN1! Exclude Zones Used to remove a particular zone or zones from executing in a programmed scene.!&doo6fhqh 5 times.!([foxgh=rqhv 6HOHFWVFHQH 6&(1( 3UHVV6(/ 7R([FOXGH=RQH 3$1(/ Up or Down button to select which scene (01-32) to modify Up or Down button to select which zone(s) to Exclude (1-8). Press the / button to Exclude the zone. 'RQH 6HOHFW1H[W=RQH - OR - Wizards Menu Press / to choose another zone to Exclude, or press Wizards/Menu to return to the Main Screen. 15
16 ZONE WIZARD The Zone Wizard programming provides settings for minimal levels and the option to lock and unlock zones. 1. Adjust Minimum Used to program the minimum lighting levels for specific Loads. :,=$5'!!$GMXVW0LQLPXP $GMXVW=RQHV 0LQLPXP/HYHOV For Dimmers Only. Using the Up or Down buttons of the first six zones (1-6) to set the individual minimum light levels. Press / to save. 0LQLPXP $GMXVWHG 3UHVV 6(/ :,=$5'! 17 ZONE WIZARD 2. Lock/Unlock Used to program the locking or unlocking of individual zones. Locking will render the Dim/Bright buttons nonfunctional. :,=$5'!!$GMXVW0LQLPXP 1 time.!/rfn8qorfn 3$1(/ /2&$//2&." Right and Left buttons to select Panel or Zone. Up and Down buttons to scroll through Panels and Zones 1-8 to lock or unlock. If the display shows LOCK then pressing / will lock that zone.
