Featuring a stylish floating design with an ultra-slim profile, the VGC-LM18G and VGC-LJ15G are all-in-one home mobile PCs that combine PC functions with entertainment for an integrated digital lifestyle. The VGC-LM18G also serves as a powerful home entertainment hub where the family can watch television programmes, enjoy digital content or surf the web on a 19-inch WXGA+ widescreen display. Both the VGC-LM18G and the VGC-LJ15G are exquisitely designed to accentuate any interior decorations with a touch of cutting-edge style. Thanks to the centre chassis structure design, the body of the L Series is ultra-slim and compact. The crystal-clear polycarbonate frame with an aluminium rim creates the appearance that the device is floating in a transparent space. Moreover, there are no screws other than at the bottom of the frame. The camera, microphone and speakers all merge seamlessly with the bezel around the screen, leaving the frame clear for a minimalist effect. The extremely well engineered stand at the back enables tilting and adjustment of viewing angles in a smooth way. The VGC-LM18G is ideal for anywhere space is at a premium. A unique feature in a PC, the VGC-LM18G has a mounting capability that allows consumers to attach a VESA-compatible mount (sold separately) to the unit and hang it on a wall. Adding to the coolness is a wireless keyboard made of anti-allergenic aluminium. Together with the wireless mouse, the PC can be easily operated from a 10-metre distance. 2 The VGC-LJ15G comes with a folding keyboard in a space saving design. The sensor buttons for AV features are neatly and elegantly lined up on the transparent frame, so music or movie entertainment is just one touch away. Thanks to the analogue/dvb-t digital Hybrid TV tuner, the VGC-LM18G allows users to watch their favourite TV programmes on a 19-inch wide WXGA+ (1440 x 900) TFT colour display screen and record content on a built-in 250GB hard disk. The digital output connector (analogue RGB, mini D-sub 15 pin) and S-Video input connector further extend connectivity options. Also, the Video Optimiser allows for easy switching between the best refresh rates for TV viewing (50Hz on Pal format) and PC applications (60Hz). This makes it an ideal media centre for all family members to enjoy music, videos, TV, DVDs and games. The two new models from the VAIO L Series are both equipped with powerful audio features for reproducing high-quality original sound. The built-in satellite speakers and subwoofer, Dolby Home Theatre available in Audio Driver, Sound Reality as well as connectivity to 5.1 channel speakers with SPDIF (optical out) all make the VGC-LM18G and VGC-LJ15G great companions for music enjoyment. Both software features the VAIO Music Channel that can automatically classify music tracks into 24 groups by analysing the music in 12 tones.
