Main Function of "ONE TOUCH X715" The modem includes the following features: When you use dashboard tool for this data card, you have to uninstall other products driver (like Monaco, because they are not compatible) and then install the Archos s driver /18

Others - Damage caused by disassembly like wrong part assembly, lost of components - Use in abnormal environment like too high temperature with plastic melts 4.3 Main maintenance operations Software downloading; /18

15 Swap the modem. 4.4 ONE TOUCH X715 Maintenance Procedure Pre-examine the modem, to see if the cover or housing or accessory is damaged. Check the (U)SIM card/ SD card is placed correctly and then Insert the modem to PC USB port Check the status of SIM card/sd card/network service If there is new version software released, pls. update the SW, and check the data card with Tester tool after SW upgrade; If the fault is not with all those above, pls. give the user a swap modem and send the faulty one to upper level RC. 5. SOFTWARE DOWNLOADING 5.1 ADSU user manual ADSU is the ALCATEL Data card SW Update tool which allows SW upgrading with the same commercial reference. Notice: Exit the PC suite before downloading! DON T plug-out device during any operation! (1) Get the SW you want to download from TS web ( and save it to your computer. (2) Get the tool from TS web and save it to your computer, into a folder that contains no Chinese characters. (3) Start ADSU.exe. (4) Click the next, and you will see the COM shown /18

17 (6) When it finished, please press Exit /18

18 Note: After software upgrading is finished, please disconnect your device from the computer, Uninstall the old connection manager if it has been installed.
