ENGINEER CONSULTATION With your support confirmation, one of our CE s (Customer Engineer) will contact you and carefully go through your configuration in regards to the System Model, Quantity, Size and Rotational Speed of your Disk Units as well as the number of FC and AT Disk Shelves and the description of any Fibre Switches. 2. SYSTEM SET-UP Once the configuration is verified, your system is set up to send us any Error Severity Report generated by the System. We also set up the system so you get an of the error message that was generated as well as the severity of the error/s. 3. ONSITE SPARE PARTS We then determine the spares required, and prepare the spares for shipment. The spares are packed separately and clearly marked with a description and part number for easy identification. As spare components are used, replacements are shipped via FedEx. 4. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS In instances where our CE s need to log into the system, we like to establish an emergency network connection into the System. If security is an issue, we can view screen snapshots and decipher error codes and messages. 5. RESPONSE & RESOLUTION Upon any errors, faults, or environment temperature changes, our tech center will notify you and advise you that a component is failing and will need to be changed. Our experienced CE s will either remotely assist you in changing the component or if a site visit is required, will come onsite to make the correction.
