Consideration should be given to where the sink is manufactured, the material used and custom made accessories. Topmount or undermount Topmount sinks are recommended for laminate countertops, while undermount sinks are most often chosen for solid surfaces such as granite. U = UNDERMOUNT SINK Cabinet size Make sure the cabinet space below the counter is wide enough to accommodate the sink s bowls.
