There, it is expected that everyone will lay their cards on the table. It is clear from these and many other common figures of speech how central a role the table plays when people sit down together to solve problems, discuss options and make decisions; activities which, nowadays, take up a large part of knowledge workers, managers and business peoples working day. The Sedus mastermind provides a functionally perfect, versatile and highly aesthetic table system for all kinds of meeting and conference. Be it a grand conference room for high-level discussions or a small meeting room for a project team brainstorming, in the centre is always the table at which everyone meets. How the tables are combined determines how people interact and communicate within the room. Enough personal space and plenty of room for presentation materials, papers and beverages; surfaces that are pleasant to the touch; the integration of all requisite media, without interfering cables; solid construction and, not least, the right proportions and visual quality. These factors are all crucial in allowing the participants in the meeting to get the best out of themselves and the situation. 7 The table system with endless possibilities. Conference and meeting rooms define parameters through their size, shape and layout. Sedus mastermind, the comprehensive table system, allows for the ideal table solution to be created to suit the situation in hand. Attractive individual tables in different shapes are best suited to small- and mediumsized meeting rooms, whilst large conference suites of any configuration can be created with the modular tables. 8 The perfect basis for efficient meetings. For everyday teamwork and project work in the office, smaller-scale, versatile meeting facilities are essential. The attractive individual tables from the Sedus mastermind range tick all the boxes. They are available in round, curved triangle, square, rectangular or boat shape, and seat from four to 14. Their refined, simple design and the variety of finishes and colours on offer mean they harmonise with any given room situation. As part of the products integral concept, tables can be optimally combined with all conference and meeting chairs, storage and occasional furniture from Sedus, allowing the creation of room solutions from a single source. Tableware. Table protectors made of high-quality wool felt in a variety of shapes for use as placemats or coasters. Splashes of colour. The protectors with a non-slip coating are available in five attractive colours.

10 Built for sound decisions. With its clear, straightforward and simple construction the result of extensive development work the Sedus mastermind is clearly impressive. However, the real genius of the system lies beneath the table top. This is where cross-rails and corner knots meet table top and sturdy legs, offering entirely new ways of creating all kinds of conference suites with little effort. The all-round cross-rails perfectly support the table top, allowing the use of modules up to 2700 mm in length and offering plenty of leg room when using up to three conference swivel chairs. The area underneath the table top is left free for integrated media technology and data and power outlets to be positioned wherever you wish. On this sound basis, Sedus mastermind also enables creative design using special shapes and individual dimensions with greater ease than ever before.

11 Modular system. The modular table system comprises rectangular start elements, interconnecting and end modules, as well as 30, 90 and 150 angle elements. Together, they allow the configuration of a whole range of conference suites. Space. Individual tables and table suites are designed for a certain number of seats, available in standard or comfort variations. If, for example, standard conference and visitor chairs are used, the seat width per place is approx. 700 mm; for conference swivel chairs it is a roomy mm. Centrepiece. The table top rests on angled circular tubes and cross-rails which can be joined at the corner knots. 10/11

The clever solution for multifunctional rooms: Sedus mastermind fold a high-quality, elegant conference table, which seats up to eight people and folds away compactly when it is no longer needed. Thanks to the sophisticated folding mechanism, you don t need to be the world s strongest person to set up and fold the table away by yourself. The table tops automatically engage when unfolded thanks to the unique Sedus Securelock System, making them safe even before locking. Integrated. There s plenty of room on the space-saving sub-structure for the integration of data and power outlets. Mobile. Thanks to the generously sized castors, the folding table moves easily and smoothly. Protected. Important for frequent use: allround rubber edges protect both the table and other furniture in the room. Easy to use. The smooth-running mechanism in conjunction with powerful gas springs ensures highly efficient transmission of power, so the table can be folded and unfolded quickly and easily. 12/13

14 Media competence on the table. Today, no conference and very few meetings can be held without presentation media, laptops or connection to data networks. For this reason, Sedus took media integration into account right from the start of development of the new mastermind system. As a result, all components can be seamlessly integrated, from the simple cable box in the individual tables to highly complex conference technology in large table suites, and as such, there s more freedom of movement and aesthetics. Conference technology. Media and building technology can be controlled easily and conveniently on the optional integrated touch panel. Ready to go. Power and network outlets are easy to access in the integrated media connector. Also, a high-quality projection mirror provides an elegant way of integrating the projector. Discreet. Desirable in elegant conference suites: integrated power and data outlets are concealed beneath veneered socket flaps.
