2 IFTT ACCOUNT AND RECIPE CREATION SET-UP GUIDE Hi Virtual Assistant, I would like you to set up an IFTT account and recipe for our client. Please follow the step-by-step procedure below. Here is the information you will need. 3 1, 2 Please Follow the Steps Below 1) Before you begin the setup for the IFTT Account you must first open 3 separate windows and logon to Facebook, Gmail and Twitter using the logon credentials provided above 2) IFTT now needs to be set up. Go to click on Sign Up on the top right corner right. Use the Gmail and password that has been provided to you above and click on Create account

4 3 3) Click on this to get started, click on that, then click on Continue

5 4, 5 4) Click Continue on next screen 5) Select Twitter, Gmail, Facebook and YouTube by clicking on each icon, then click on the Continue button at the bottom of the screen

6 6, 7 6) Click on My Recipes at the top of the screen, and then click on Create a Recipe 7) To Create a Recipe, click on this

7 8, 9 8) Type YouTube in the Search Channels field 9) Now click on the YouTube icon

8 10, 11 10) Click on the Connect button 11) Since you are already logged into the Gmail account you will be able to choose the business Google

9 12, 13 12) Once you ve chosen the business Google click on Allow to manage your YouTube account 13) Click Done, and click Continue To Next Step when the pop-up appears

10 14, 15 14) Choose a Trigger, choose New public video uploaded by you 15) Complete Trigger Fields - click Create Trigger

11 16, 17 16) After you ve clicked on the Create Trigger button you should notice that the screen now shows; if YouTube New public video uploaded then that, showing the details of the recipe you are setting up (see example below). Simply click that to move forward 17) On the Choose Action Channel screen type Facebook in the Search Channels field as noted below

12 18, 19 18) Choose Action Channel, select the Facebook Pages icon 19) You will receive a pop-up and you will need to click Connect

13 20, 21 20) Click Okay to connect IFTT to Facebook, then click Okay for IFTTT to post to Facebook 21) Then click Okay to IFTTT would like to manage your Pages

14 22, 23 22) If you get the message Facebook Pages connected, click Done 23) If you are brought back to the Connect page again, click Connect and then click Continue to the next step

15 24, 25 24) Choose an Action - Click on Create a link post as noted below 25) You will note that nothing needs to be filled in so just click Create Action

16 26, 27 26) Next, click on Create Recipe to complete the process 27) If you see the Recipe ID and the explanation of what was created, you know the recipe was created successfully!

17 28, 29 28) Now, create another recipe to connect YouTube with Twitter. Click on My Recipes on the top of the screen, then click Create a Recipe 29) To create a recipe, click this

18 30,31,32 30) To choose the trigger channel, type YouTube in the Search Channels field 31) Then, click on the YouTube icon 32) Next, click on New public video uploaded by you

19 33,34,35 33) You will receive a pop up and will click Create Trigger 34) You will once again see if YouTube New public video uploaded then that so you will need to click that 35) You now need to do the same for Twitter. On the Choose Action Channel screen, type Twitter in the Search Channels field

20 36,37,38 36) You will see the icon appear and you will need to click on the Twitter icon 37) Click on Connect to connect the Twitter Channel 38) Click on Authorize app

21 39,40 39) Next, click Done 40) If you are brought back to the Please connect the Twitter channel page, click connect, then click Continue to the next step

22 41,42 41) On the Choose an Action screen, click on Post a tweet 42) You will receive the popup noted below and will need to, click Create Action

23 43,44 43) Next, click Create Recipe 44) You will then get the confirmation that the recipe was created with the Recipe ID & details The twitter IFTT recipe has now been set up successfully!
