13 Managing accounts Users register a backup account through the IT Services Registration web pages Accounts sometimes never used or stop being used Mail sent after every missed scheduled backup After one month of inactivity user is sent a reminder to backup After three months they are warned their data will be deleted unless they run a backup They can request an extension Otherwise, after a final warning, data and account is deleted Deletions, including deregistered accounts, are done weekly Providing a first class, enterprise-level, backup and archive service for Oxford University 11th June 2013 Page 13
