4 1. Overview This is installation guide of NVIDIA Tesla C-2075 (C-2075) driver on RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). For Windows, please check Installation Guide of nvidia TESLA C2075. That manual is available from the ServerView Suite DVD 2 supplied with your PRIMERGY server or online at (EMEA market) or (Japanese market). Note All procedures must be done by root user. 2. Supported configuration This document assumes the cluster with the following configurations Hardware > The following PRIMERGY server support C-2075 at the moment. - PRIMERGY TX300S7 > The following OS (Operation System) are supported with above configuration at the moment. - RHEL RHEL Software (Driver and toolkit) > The following driver and toolkit are supported with above hardware configuration at the moment Driver > Install the following C-2075 driver with this Installation Guide. - NVIDIA-Linux-x86_ run Toolkit (Optional) > After the installation of C-2075 driver, install the following toolkits, if you want. This is optional. - cudatoolkit_4.1.28_linux_64_rhel5.x.run (For RHEL5.x) - cudatoolkit_4.1.28_linux_64_rhel6.x.run (For RHEL6.x) - gpucomputingsdk_4.1.28_linux.run 4

4. Installation of C-2075 driver This chapter describes how to install the C-2075 driver. 1) Create a directory and put the C-2075 driver on the directory. (e.g.

9 8) Select OK to finish the installation. [ Figure.5 ] [ Figure.5 ] 9) Re-start the X server (X-window) and change the runlevel to 5 # init 5 5. After the driver installation 5.1. Confirmation if the driver is installed properly After the C-2075 driver installation, please confirm if the driver is installed properly. 1) Start the terminal console 2) Execute nvidia-smi command (This command is executed every directory). # nvidia-smi If this command is executed properly and displayed the status of C-2075, the driver installation is success. And then, if you want, install the CUDA driver in next step. If this command isn t executed properly, re-try to install this driver. (Caution) The nvidia-settings command isn t executed properly because the NVIDIA-X driver wasn t installed. Fujitsu doesn t support NVIDIA X driver. But, some setting on nvidia-settings can be set using nvidia-smi command. Please check nvidia-smi help command (# nvidia-smi -h) in details. 9
