3 Network Codes: The following codes have been used during the testing: Code Value MCC 238 MNC-A 2392 MNC-B Frequencies: The following Frequencies have been used during the testing: Mnemonic Frequency Note F1 F2 F MHz MHz MHz Note 1: TIP compliance testing focuses on functionality on the OSI model layers two, three and higher and therefore is frequency band independent. Note 2: ISCOM has spot tested the Terminal MTP850 in order to achieve a sufficient level of confidence that it is TIP compliant with the same functionalities tested for the Terminal MTH800. See the attached declaration of commonality provided by in annex 1 of this certificate. The subset of performed test cases were selected by ISCOM from the TIP compliance test plans listed below. Note 3: ISCOM has spot tested the Sepura Terminals SRH3500 and SRC3300 in order to achieve a sufficient level of confidence that it is TIP compliant with the same functionalities tested for the Terminal SRH3800. See the attached declaration of commonality provided by in annex 2 of this certificate. The subset of performed test cases were selected by ISCOM from the TIP compliance test plans listed below. 3/11
4 IOP Test Plans used for testing The following Test Plans were used in the Test Session: TETRA MoU Association:, Gateway, Ver Test Results The test results are shown in the tables below. Test results and the certificates from previous IOP test sessions are available on TETRA MoU Association web site ( The test result tables on the next pages indicate whether or not tests addressing a specific requirement of the TIP specification have been performed, whether or not the requirement is applicable for the SwMI or the MS, and if the test case was executed the result of the test may take one of seven values: - No test performed. N/A No NTPA P F I Not applicable for the SwMI Not supported by Terminal No Test Plan/case Available Pass Fail Inconclusive The test results have been derived from examining the behaviour of a live system. The verdicts indicated are based on the log evaluation of the information exchange between the SwMI and the terminals indicated in the following tables. The verdicts reflect the fact that at the time of the IOP testing it was/was not possible to demonstrate a behaviour that was in accordance with the related requirement. ISCOM has made every effort to ensure that tests are in accordance with the relevant TIPs. ISCOM has no liability for the test results, or towards the manufacturers. 4/11

10 Comments: SwMI General note P : As SwMI does not support call ownership, Selex gateway cannot send U-DISCONNECT PDU to the SwMI, so the call disconnect cause for the previous call (normal call) is realeased because of expiry of timer by the SwMI. Gateway Selex VS3000 DM GW Concerning preemption for ongoing group call, the Gateway supports only preemptive priority call. EADS TMR880i P1 EADS MS gets the presence signal indicating channel free only on slot 1. P13 EADS MS after DM-PREEMPT PDU with preemptive priority element sends DM-SETUP PDU and DM-OCCUPIED PDU with normal priority element. EADS THR880i P1 EADS MS gets the presence signal indicating channel free only on slot 1. P13 EADS MS after DM-PREEMPT PDU with preemptive priority element sends DM-SETUP PDU and DM-OCCUPIED PDU with normal priority element. MTH800 P1 MS gets the presence signal indicating channel free only on slot 3. P2 MS after the DM-SETUP PDU from the gate gets some DM-TX REQUEST PDU instead of others DM-SETUP PDUs. P3 MS gets DM-OCCUPIED PDU only on frame 12 and 18 slot 3. P6 MS only shows DM-RESERVED PDUs on slot 3. F3 MS sometimes sends last DM-PRE-ACCEPT after the final countdown frame has been reached. 11 Comments: P4 P7 F1 P4 P7 F1 VRM5208A MS gets DM-OCCUPIED PDUs on frame 18 and 12 slot 3, meanwhile it should gets also on frames 6 slot 3 and 18 slot 1. MS does not manage the DM-SETUP after receiving the DM- GCONNECT PDU by the gateway, for that reason DT 363 timer value has been changed from 700ms to 900ms. MS does not recognise the DM-PEEMPT PDU sent by gateway and does not perform the pre-emption procedure. PRM5202A MS gets DM-OCCUPIED PDUs on frame 18 and 12 slot 3, meanwhile it should gets also on frames 6 slot 3 and 18 slot 1. MS does not manage the DM-SETUP after receiving the D-CONNECT PDU by the gateway, for that reason DT 363 timer value has been changed from 700ms to 900ms. MS does not recognise the DM-PEEMPT PDU sent by gateway and does not perform the pre-emption procedure. CM5000 P5 MS gets DM-OCCUPIED PDUs on frame 18 and 12 slot 3, meanwhile it should gets also on frames 6 slot 3 and 18 slot 1. P6 MS only shows DM-RESERVED PDUs on slot 3. CM9000P P5 MS gets DM-OCCUPIED PDUs on frame 18 and 12 slot 3, meanwhile it should gets also on frames 6 slot 3 and 18 slot 1. P6 MS only shows DM-RESERVED PDUs on slot 3. P10 CM9000P as MS A2 with as MS A1: the logfile does not show the DM-TX CEASED PDU sent by DM-MS A1.
