CRM = Customer Relationship Management Some of the Benefits Faster quote TAT (CEL HQ responds directly to Disti) Product catalog incl lead time, disti cost, desc data, etc. Competitor cross reference search capability Historical log of all opportunities & registrations including status and all actions taken Historical log of all quotes including associated Debit Complete POS data stored with flexible search capability Reporting capabilities
4 ProChannel Basics Logging On Using internet explorer type crmprod.cel.com (DO NOT put www. In front of it) Enter your User ID (first initial and last name) Enter password Do NOT use caps Logging Out ONLY use the Logout icon in upper right corner of screen DO NOT log out by closing browser Automatic log off with no activity for 45 min
5 ProChannel Basics Navigating Access various modules thru Home page, left margin list of modules Using Navigate to at bottom of home page or any module Using tabs across top once in any module Return to Home page using Home icon (looks like house) in upper right corner DO NOT use the browser BACK button DO use the Return button in each module Changing Password Navigate to Admin, Set Password OR click on PC Admin icon in upper right corner (looks like tools) Enter new password, repeat, Continue, Save
6 Home Page Announcements / News & Updates New product info; process reminders/updates Alerts Most recent alerts shown on home page Based on notification rules set up in Admin module (to be discussed later in training) Select for additional alerts
7 Product Catalog Product Catalog Part #, Desc, Attributes, Status, Pkg, T&R, Stock Policy, Min Order, Order Multiple, Select price breaks, Disti cost, lead time Underscore indicates URL link to data sheet + in Stk column drills into CEL record of your inventory R indicates registerable * = Wildcard * = NC/NR part Footer explains these symbols Can search by P/N, Prod Fam, Desc, Wildcard, technical reqmt, etc NOT case sensitive (when searching, system will find Part # regardless of case Competitor Cross Reference
8 Competitor/Customer Cross Ref Located under Product Catalog Competitor Part Cross Reference: Catalog Competitor Parts Search by Competitor OR Competitor P/N OR Both Data is loaded from Marketing spreadsheet Can be viewed thru Catalog Manufacturer Parts Xref + Customer Part Cross Reference: Catalog Customer Parts Search by Customer OR Customer P/N OR Both Table is built - Data is pulled from CPN data entered in opps, quotes, orders
9 Opportunity/Registration NEDA Form - used to request a registration AND to track Disti major opportunities Quotes do not have to start with Reg, however, all RF chips and Hi-Rel quotes require a Reg/Opp to be entered Summary screen Opp #, Reg #, Disti Branch, End Customer, Program, Application, P/N, Est Revenue, Win Status, Reg Status, Expire date Any column with underlined header can be sorted click on header once for ascending; twice for descending Customize view by # of days and # of rows, by Org (only saved per session) History Log shows all activity done, by whom & when
10 Quotes Quotes CEL & Disti interactive quoting module Used for ALL ship&debit quotes and ALL parts not on Disti price list Includes Summary screen* Quote #, Created by, Created Date, Cust, End Cust, Prgm, # Items, Ext $ Value, Closure, Order #/Debit #, Channel Can drill into Quote can be customized by # of days and # of rows AND all have search capability
11 Quotes Quote Summary Special characters: * Mandatory field * Prod Cat: NC/NR. Reviewed! Target not met! Needs review Yellow Target not met Footer on screen usually explains these symbols Sorting Summary Tables click once on header to sort ascending click twice on header to sort descending Anything underlined can be drilled into
12 Quote Process Notes Quotes with multiple price breaks A new line must be entered for each qty break on the quote (be sure to enter sequentially) Quotes for Multiple Prod Lines Each PM/PMS responds to their own line item on quote When ONE line is quoted & saved, it will appear that quote review is done CEL will quote & note which line has been completed; wait for all lines to be quoted Adding or inserting a line on a quote Cannot be done after quote selected clicked Can copy quote and then add lines & select only those lines you want on the corrected quote
13 Quote Process Notes Delivery See product catalog for lead time OR Click on checkmark icon on quote line to see lead time Line History and History Log History at line level shows all activity for the line History Log shows all changes made to the quote including date and who made change Quote can be ed (be sure to attach as HTML or PDF) NOTE: if you the quote, the receiver will see EXACTLY what you see on the screen; including MARGIN INFO & COMMENTS. Contact CEL Mktg if a Quote needs to be voided
14 Disti Inventory 3 Access Methods: Inventory Module Can search by part # and/or product family Shows your Disti inventory as of last update Click on + to view detail Calculated QOH shows shipments since last update & calculates current QOH Product Catalog Module Inventory shown in Stock column; click on + (if no + means no inventory) Quotes Module Can view Disti inventory in Quote under Actions column; click on checkmark icon = Stock Check
15 Channel Module Debits (located under Channel module) Includes Summary Screen Debit #, Expire date, Cust, Disti, P/N, Qty Total, Qty Open, % open, $ Open, $ shipped, Status Can drill into debit POS Includes Summary Screen POS month, Customer, CEL Part #, Qty, Ship Date, POS Resale price, Disti Cost, Disti Book Cost, Ext Value, Debit #, Status, Invoice # Can drill into POS item to see detail (including reconciliation discrepancies) Imported monthly; hope to change to weekly
16 Orders and Samples Orders No change to existing order entry process Disti orders are entered directly into CEL MRP system by CEL Sales Admin Disti s cannot view Orders in ProChannel at this time Samples Disti s have access to the Sample module, however do NOT enter any NEW samples order OR make any changes to existing sample orders No Change to existing sample process - Request all samples thru your local CEL Field Sales Offic
17 Administration Administration - User Info Lets you see your capabilities Set password Go to Administration, User Info Use Navigate To, Administration (bottom of each screen) OR Click on tools icon at top right corner Administration - Territories All Users are associated with a territory/organization Users can see any activity within their organization AND below them Go to Administration, Territories
18 Account Mgmt Module Account Management View your disti contacts, end customers includes title, address, e- mail, tel number (if entered) Can search by first name, last name, title, end customer Can look up CEL addresses
19 Notification Rules/Alerts Notification Rules (to establish Alerts) Set up Alerts thru bottom of Home page, Navigate to, Alerts, Selected View, Notification Rules Can be set up to receive via Each user is responsible to set up their own rules! Resulting alerts show on home page
20 Reports Module Reports Go to Reports Module ; New Shows list of available reports Click on Report Type name Complete report criteria values (* fields are mandatory) Click Run Report Back a Report Summary screen, click on Report # to open report (if I it says Refresh Page, just click on that until a report # is assigned) Can be exported to Excel
