Web viewer of measured data User Guide Mi n i m u m r e q u i r e m e n t s What is CloudFM Viewer? The CloudFM Viewer is an application running in a web browser that allows access to data and management of telemetry stations manufactured by the Fiedler-Mágr company. Telemetry station type M4016, M4316, STELA, H1 and H40 equipped with GPRS modem have support of remote management and data transmission to the server. These data are archived in the database to which the user has access through a web browser. Data is displayed in a user-friendly way with graphs and tables. Additionally, the Viewer supports export to multiple data formats. Another CloudFM Viewer features depend on given access permission to the user. Users with higher permission of access can modify the graphic appearance and profiles of viewed pages, change stations parameters, remote stations firmware upgrade or create a virtual station. Any computer or device equipped with a standard Internet browser (MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera) will be sufficient to work with the server. A browser of device must be connected to the internet and be able to display images. Public version of CloudFM Viewer is available on or it can be visited through main web site of the Fiedler-Mágr company: Caution All measured data available through CloudFM Viewer are not legally relevant. 4 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User guide Sign in to CloudFM The Viewer requires user authentication by user name and password. The connection is secured by encryption using the https protocol. It uses at least 128-bit SSL encryption. Login to the system is permitted only to a pre-authenticated user by system administrator. The username and password have to by send to the user in advance. The password is case-sensitive, username is not. A c c e s s p e r m i s s i o n Users can get several types of access permissions. User with the lowest permission is called demo with similar username and password. This user is intended for demonstration purposes of Viewer features. The end user with maximum privileges will be assumed in the following text. The user has a great flexibility in the browser appearance settings and telemetry stations parameters configuration. Setting access permission is a matter of agreement by the representative of the company Fiedler-Mágr and a customer. The full control of CloudFM Viewer is available for administrator role. This user has absolute control over the system and is equivalent to Fiedler-Mágr administrator. For more information about administrator role and its permission see Administrator Guide. 5 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User Guide General page The user will see this page immediately after a successful login. It is divided into three parts: an information bar (top bar), a list of accessible areas with telemetric stations (left bar) and the display area (center to right). Front page is empty immediately after the first login. INFORMATION BAR The upper part of the page contains the information bar. The bar provides this information: Name of the user logged on is displayed in the bottom left. Links for changing passwords and addresses, and the language switch or logout are available on the right. C h a n g e p a s s w o r d The link Change password goes to page which can be used to change access password for the Viewer and for entering of user. It is important to fill in the address. It is mandatory to have a contact for password reset in case the user has forgotten it. L a n g u a g e s w i t c h Logout The web platform is translated into two languages by default. It is possible to change language from information tab. After Logout link clicking the current authenticated user will be logged out. All session data will be lost. Maximum log-in time is set for one hour for security reasons. After the expiration of this period, the user is automatically logged out. 6 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User guide St a t i o n l i s t i n a r e a STATION LIST NAVIGATION BAR Telemetry stations are arranged into areas. Each user has access only to those areas to which he was obtained permission - i.e. either his stations, or the public stations. After clicking on the area, a list of stations belonging to it opens underneath. This list will also appear in the display area of page where stations labels are accompanied by status icons, last transfer times to the server. S e a r c h When you click on the blue label station, detailed information about the selected station is displayed. The first item before the list of areas is the search link. Use the quick search by directly typing after the symbol of magnifying glass. The advanced search shows up the display area after you hit the search box. From advanced searching, custom list of stations can be created. The list can contain: Search by last station status (power supply failure, ) Search by remaining credit in a telemetry station SIM card Search by date of last SIM card credit recharge Search by station label or id number Every time all stations accessible to logged user are searched. Other stations are hidden from search function. Search by ID number shows the live autocomplete context help with the current station label and all areas in which the station is located. 7 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User Guide DISPLAY AREA HOME PAGE Immediately after logging in, the area is empty. The basic features of area is display details of the selected stations, important measured values on channels and other tools that allow data processing. St a t u s s t a t i o n i c o n s Station page The user will see this page after hit of label of any station. The icon status of the station is sometimes possible to find besides the station label. These icons describe the warnings and errors that can arose at the station and that are directly related to it. These icons are displayed only if state condition arose. Otherwise the area for status indication is blank. Transfer period is longer than expected Alarm in measured channels Error in measured channels External power supply failure Low battery Fatal HW problem L a s t t r a n s f e r t i m e Value represents time of the last measured data transmission from telemetry station to the server. Includes day of the week, date and time when the connection was terminated. L a s t d a t a t r a n s f e r Value represents time of the last data recording. Interval corresponds to a multiple of archiving parameter. Includes day of the week, date and time when the value was measured. To o l b a r i c o n s Toolbar icons can be found at the top right. Number of displayed icons depends on the logged user permission, type of viewed stations and enabled station parameters. All available icons are list in following chart. General page settings Selected parameters configuration Selected parameters values setting Graph page settings Data management Alarm agent Station parameters Ta b l e o f m e a s u r e m e n t c h a n n e l s The table of measurement channels follows, where each channel has its own row. A checkbox at the beginning of each row determines if the channel is included in following data operations. Checkbox button in the table header selects / deselects all the buttons in the table. The label contains channel number, channel label and units of displayed value. The last measured value is used as the others on this page for a quick overview. After you place your cursor on this value, the measurement time will pop up - this is especially useful while having various archiving intervals on each channel. The second section of the table separated by vertical bars shows the statistical values for the previous day. The minimum and maximum have again hint. The time of measurement can be checked by putting the mouse cursor over the value. In the case the channel measures summed quantities (flow, precipitation), the sum of the value for the previous day is displayed. 8 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User guide E v e n t l o g D e t a i l e d g r a p h s o f m e a s u r e m e n t c h a n n e l s The last section, the sum of installation is important again only at aggregate quantities. After this box is checked and the Graph button clicked, a table is displayed. This table shows all the events on the station for the selected interval. For example the change of parameters sent / received SMS messages, error events, etc. Users with lower permissions do not have allowed to view the table of events. The row includes three buttons and two menu selection and is used to display detailed graphs and export data. The data interval selection is provided in the first dropdown menu. There are six fixed intervals and two variable. The first variable interval "Archived month" allows you to choose from history one month, the second "Interval from... to" allows you to choose any period limited by the length of 31 days. When you enter the dates and times should follow the syntax of preset data. Six fixed intervals are shown in the following figure. Ta b l e s B i n a r y c h a n n e l s t a b l e The second dropdown menu defines the type of chart that will be used for rendering. There are three types: bar, scatter and filled graph. The filled is variant of bar graph. The Graph button opens a new tab with graphs that adapt to the user's monitor resolution. Their interval is determined by the dropdown menu for selecting data interval, type of graph by the dropdown menu Graph type. Graphs are displayed only for measuring and binary channels that the user wants to view. The user selects the channels through checkboxes located on each channel row in a table of measurement channels. If the checkbox next to the event table is checked, it s also displayed. The "Export to DTA" button allows you to export the data as a DTA file (with *.dta file extension) which is intended for the MOST software of the Fiedler-Mágr company. Processing of measured data from the DTA file is the same as if it has been downloaded via the communication interface RS232 (serial cable). The MOST software can e.g. automatically create and print monthly reports, perform data averaging, etc. The measured data can be further processed in a spreadsheet software such as MS Excel using the "Export to CSV" button. The data is exported as a CSV file that can be opened in the spreadsheet software. Both buttons for export reflect the specified interval for data selection and export all channels data, regardless of checkboxes states for each channel in the table of measurement channels. The row includes three buttons and a dropdown menu. This command is used to graphically display statistics for selected interval and print balance tables. Data interval selection is performed the dropdown menu. There are three fixed intervals (the last 31 days of data, the current and previous month) and one variable (Archived month). Buttons for data export to file works the same way as in the graph section. The Table button opens a new tab with tables and graphs that belong to channels selected by checkbox in the table of measurement channels. There does not display events table, even if the checkbox was checked with it. 9 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User Guide B i n a r y c h a n n e l s g r a p h s The binary channel table is very similar to the measuring channel table. Each digital channel has its own row with checkbox that determines whether the channel is included in the processing. The checkbox in the table header selects/deselects all the buttons in the table. The Label contains the number of the binary channel in the telemetry station and its name. The Status column provides information on the latest state of the binary channel. The "Run time" shows the operating time of the channel in hours. This feature is useful for the pumps. Simply to see how long the pump is already in operation. If telemetric device has this feature disabled for the transmitted binary channel, only dashes are displayed instead. The button is used to accurately display the switching times of digital channels on a continuous timeline. Detailed graphs are displayed in the one day, according to the data in the window next to the button. The displayed graph can then be dynamically move freely, zoom, delete and insert binary channels, or count operating time in hours for any period. There is also the option to display the binary states according to the start time (record in the table for every change to any binary channel). S a v e s e t t i n g s f e a t u r e s Web browser remembers the last state of configuration elements of the main page. This means that for one telemetry station user can use bar graphs, the interval of the last 24 hours of data, and displaying only the first two channels, for the second station can use scatterplots, today interval and all channels display. The browser automatically sets the configuration elements while the request for display station data have received. After graph page opening the Viewer store the last elements state of main page. Selected interval of statistics is not saved. 10 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User guide Me a s u r e m e n t c h a n n e ls Graph page This page is used to display graphs and tables of measured values for measurement channels to display a table of binary states and events table. The page will always opens in a new window, so you can use a maximum viewable area of the screen and the main page with graphs settings will be available. The page title appears at the top of the page. Station name is shown in red. When you click on the title, the graphs page will automatically closed. However user remains logged in as well as the main page remains open in web browser. Selected time and date interval for data appears below the title. Every channel is shown here as a set of graph and table of measured values. A number of these sets is equal to the number of measurement channels that the user selected using the checkboxes on the main page. Channel label is shown at the top of set, in the title of the graph. E v e n t s t a b l e Table of measured values is sorted by time. Recent values are always on top. Buttons for exporting data to CSV and DTA file located under the table export only data from one channel, not the whole station. This table shows all the events and conditions that telemetry stations recorded and that it's somehow relate to it. This is essentially parameter changes, sent / received SMS messages, station error conditions, information about success of sending the measured data to the server, etc. For presentation purposes and for users with lower permissions, event table is not accessible because it may contain information about phone numbers and other private data. 11 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
Web viewer of measured data User Guide Binary channel page This page is used for display of binary channels switching in the time. D i s p l a y e d t i m e i n t e r v a l C h a n g e d i s p l a y e d t i m e i n t e r v a l Ma n a g e m e n t o f d i s p l a y e d b i n a r y c h a n n e l s S w i t c h t o v e r t i c a l axis C a l c u l a t e o p e r a t i o n h o u r s f o r s e l e c t e d i n t e r v a l The current displayed date interval and period length is shown below the station label in a blue field. Interval change can be done by set of four buttons in the top right corner. Graph uses horizontal continuous timeline with labels in the header, the list of binary channels is shown on the vertical axis on the left side. Arrow buttons allow you to move in time forward or backward. The offset is always ¼ of full displayed period length. Zoom Buttons changes the scale (0.5 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 7 days, 14 days), moreover it is possible to bring interesting details by dragging the mouse with the left mouse button while holding down the CTRL key. Uninteresting digital channels can be dynamically removed from the chart. The channels are grouped into select box under the buttons to change the time scale. From there you can at any time go back to the chart. Select box shows all digital channels - including those unchecked on the main page of station. This feature allows you to view formerly used table of binary channels. The time axis is formed by the events of any archived binary channel switching. Table rows are sorted by time. Last states are always on top. The button displays a form where it can be calculated the number of switching, on-time and off-time for any time period and for any binary channel. By default, the input fields for time period selection are filled with the current time period of displayed graph. Statistics page This page is used to display aggregate values the measuring channel i.e. statistical values. Statistics are displayed in graphical form for a selected time interval. Statistical page does not display the binary status table nor an event table. Every channel is shown here as a single table. Number of tables is equal to the number of measurement channels that the user selected using the checkboxes on the main page. Above each table is a label of displayed channel. 12 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR

If the displayed channel represent a sum, the fifth part "Sum" is automatically added. The table is sorted in ascending order by the first column, which contains all the days of selected time period. The next two columns belong together and show the minimum measured values along with time for each measurement date, and their graphical representation. The range for the column is calculated automatically from all the measured values for the selected time interval. For Minimum is used red color. The way to display the maximum values is identical to the minimum. Used color is blue. Two columns belonging to the average values for each day are shown in dark green. Accumulated values per day are shown in dark blue color. The last row of the table contains only two values: the first, green one is the average value for the displayed channel, the second, dark blue is accumulated value for the selected time interval. 13 elektronika pro ekologii FIEDLER-MÁGR
