SciFinder Web: new interface, more intuitive work flow and customization.. 9
Preferences: set up the favorite Starting Page and KMP notification~ 10
Help: learn more about SF Web, or click at anytime when you have questions. 11
Register Now!! Please confirm with librarians in your campus and find out the User Registration URL for SciFinder Web.. 12
When you forgot password 13
Explore References Multiple entries to explore references, such as Topic, Author Name, Company Names. Below are criteria that you can limited the query. 14
References can be extended by crossover search with related information such as Substances, Reactions, Citied, or Citing. References also can be added Comments or Tags. 15
References can be created a bookmark (unique URL) that can be copy/paste and share to other colleagues and therefore to reduce the time to do the same work. 16
References can be added Comments or Tags and share to the colleagues in My Connection. 17
My Connections: within your organization (campus) you can connect more than 1 colleague, just invite them and the connected colleagues can check Comments and Tags by each other. 18
Tags: browse Tags created by you and your connected colleagues, accelerated references share and team work. 19
References can be Save (Answer Set) Print and Export. There are multi formats to export such as akx, pdf, rtf, txt. There are limited answers can be Save or Export. 20
Reference can sort by Accession No., Author Name, Publication Year, Title. 21
The new analysis item CA Concept Heading which characterizes the general subject matter of the reference. Click Full Analysis and more to check the detail. 22
Select interesting (ex. Nanocomposites), it ll show you the preanalysis results and highlight in yellow color. The overlap in different selections will also present in yellow color. Keep analysis if you want these results. 23
Keep analysis!! 24
There is no need to select Back up, instead of select Breadcrumb to go back to any retrieve steps!! 25
Categorize, select different classes you need and Refine!! 26
When you check the reference detail, you ll find the basic information of this reference at right side or Indexing Concepts Substances summary by CA experts at below!! 27
Concepts provide hyperlink let scientists can quick transfer to extended fields. 28
Substances provide hyperlink let scientists can quick check related information of substance during this reference. 29
Explore Substances Can retrieve by Structure Drawing, Mol. Formula and Substance Identifier. Below are the criteria to limit the search query. 30
Powerful integrated Structure Templates and User Defined that let scientists easy to complete structure edit. 31
There are powerful tools can help researchers to design complicated structure and then search by substructure or similarity. 32
Preference, can customize different items you need. 33
Multi formats support Import/Export, such as ChemDraw, ISIS/Draw, MDL. 34
Substance Detail:Clear arrangement, easy to read and let scientists transfer to related information properly by quick link. 35
Substance Detail:Select interesting fields and can get related references easily. It also show you if this substance was prophetic in patents. 36
Substance Detail:Predicted Properties, arrange by different types including NMR spectra in predicted. 37
Substance Detail:Carbon-13 NMR spectra, predicted and calculated by ACD/Labs. 38
Substance Detail:Experimental Properties, including many types of spectra. 39
Substance Detail:Basic information is located on the right side. 40
New features:to limit results by Refine/ Property Value. 41
Refine:For example, limited by Molecular Weight. 42
There are many formats can be exported such as akx, pdf, rtf, xls, txt. 43
Explore Reactions Select Solvents can let you design reaction. 5 tools specific for explore reaction. 44
Powerful integrated tools that let scientists easy to complete reaction search. 45
Before doing search, you can select solvents what you preferred. 46
Clear page and easy to copy/paste via Link function and then share to colleagues. 47
Can sort by different items and show one reaction per reference. 48
New feature: Similar Reaction, depend on what you want and get similar reactions from narrow to broad. 49
Select the Broad of similar reaction and can get results as below. 50
Click substance directly and can get extended information. 51
There are many formats can be exported such as akx, pdf, rtf. 52
Other useful features: Answer Sets: can pick up more than 2 answer sets and then combine. History: provides a complete record of events (the latest 10 records) occurring throughout a SciFinder session. KMP results: can edit a Keep Me Posted (KMP) profile to change its title, description, status, and expiration date. 53
Pick up more than 2 answer sets (by References, Substances, Reactions individually) and then combine. 54
