2 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 WG19 BUS-001 Agenda the Working Group Meeting, Busan, Republic Korea, SC07/WG19 ODP and Modelling Languages 1 Introduction 1.1 Welcome and introductions Bryan Wood, UK, opened the third meeting WG19, at 14:00 on Monday May 13, The meeting was co-located with the SC7 Plenary, in Nagoya, Japan. 1.2 Roll Call Mr. Jean Bérubé Canada jberube@attglobal.net Pr. This will be corrected at this meeting. Canada also asked for a three year plan to be produced at this meeting to establish the viability WG19 Australia The priority Australia is to complete the Petri-Net ballots. 3 Agenda the Working Group Meet ing, Busan, Republic Korea, No comments were raised on the minutes 2 Convenor s Report The convenor asked project leaders to summarize their projects and their status for the benefit new participants. He then reported on the status the OMG liaison, and PAS processing. 3 Meetings Organization 3.1 WG Meeting Calendar Tuesday will be used to prepare the re-activation resolutions and supporting material Wednesday will cover the rest the agenda The meeting will conclude Thursday at 13:00 with the revision action items and resolutions. 3.2 WG action item review No outstanding action items from the previous period. 3.3 Registration input documents The initial document register was created. It is updated as required during the week. 4 SC07 Matters and Resolutions 4.1 Relation WG19 work to other work in SC7 The convenor will repackaging the presentation the work he gave to the AG, and will give it to several WG this week. The discussion introduced Improve the quality specifications as a way expressing our mission. The group agreed to discuss this topic further at the Helsinki meeting. 4.2 IEEE proposal for standardizing IEEE standards through SC7 IEEE Liason Presentation has been given a BUS-030, with an action item to review it as input to Helsinki. 4.3 SC7 Architecture Not discussed. 4 Agenda the Working Group Meet ing, Busan, Republic Korea, 5.1 Progression on OMG PAS Submission GIOP/IIOP The text ready to sent, after final review, to ITTF UML Version 1.3 has completed the PAS process, but will not be published. Version 1.4 will be the version to be published as a technical corrigendum. The technical Corrigenda will be the whole the document with a table changes. To check if there are delays to avoid for cancellation. 5.2 Progression CDIF Work BUS 005 summarized the situation at the beginning the meeting. The output resolutions BUS- 007 summarize the action plan. 5.3 P19 Petri- Net Editing Work Status Jonathan Billington summarized the situation at the beginning the meeting. The output resolutions BUS-007 summarize the action plan. 5.4 FCD ODP Quality Service The document got to FCD in The editor took time to edit and there is not a pool expert available. The Nagoya meeting identified the various alternatives (new editor and FDIS, DTR, Cancel). There was agreement that going to DTR was the approach to be taken. 6 Workplan for NWI Submission: A guideline on the use Unified Modelling Language (UML) for ODP viewpoint specifications The draft NWI was reviwed, and there was consensus on further work in this area. A new version will be prepared, and the NWI will be finalized at the Helsinki meeting. WG19 will inform WG17 WG2 WG12 and WG4 about the NWI and solicit participation 6.2 OMG PAS Roadmap The PAS Roadmap is quite old. And the OMG Liason subcommittee will revise it. 5 Agenda the Working Group Meet ing, Busan, Republic Korea, 7.1 Liaisons SC32 SC32 Framework for metamodel interoperability (NW approved, Japan driven/omg) is similar in objectives to what CDIF, and as some the elements discussed in the Study Period on Mapping Modelling Languages (SPMML) Common Logic (KIF and CG) (NW intended) MOF, XMI PAS Expected 7.2 Membership We would need some Public WEB Page to publicize our WG on the site, in order to grow the membership. 7.3 Infrastructure The document explaining how to register to the site will be updated and resend to SC7. 8 Closure/adjournment the meeting 8.1 Action Items The action items were summarized on a flipchart: 1.
