Work Experiences Senior Information Architect / Usability Specialist Thomson Reuters Bellevue, WA Jan 2017 to Present Information Architect & Usability Specialist focused on a major redesign of the industry leading legal accounting software called Legal Tracker. Responsibilities are aligned with an aggressive timeline to complete a heuristic evaluation of the application, perform focus groups with clients to understand the applications week points, design a clickable sales prototype built in invision featuring very forward thinking designs, and then advise the development team how to close the gap between the old and the new. Senior Information Architect / User Experience Designer AT&T Enterprise Business - Seattle, WA March 2014 to October 2016 Information Architect in which the primary focus was on usability testing and surveys, building prototypes and performing the testing, as well as using the data to create new and improved designs. I led the usability testing directing our 3rd party consultants and inventing new areas of testing. I also led efforts to improve AT&T Sales intranet site. After performing surveys and grass roots one-on-one interviews with AT&Ts sales teams, my team was able to greatly improve the usability of this intranet site which ultimately enables the sales team to close deals generated by leads captured from the Enterprise customer facing site. Senior Information Architect / User Experience Designer Walt Disney Company - Seattle, WA November 2013 to March 2014 I was brought in as an Information Architect to help bridge the gap between the Glendale creative group and the Seattle based technology group all tasked with a very high profile project called Emagine - which was deemed top secret even within the walls of Disney. I worked intensely on breakthrough development involving hardware and complicated software backend systems. I created many work flow diagrams and process flow charts to help guide the team as things quickly changed and became irrelevant. This was a project full of ambiguity and uncharted territories. I was instrumental in the initial conceptualization of what this group was attempting to accomplish ultimately leaving them with a bible which documented all the thinking. This product launched into the market October of 2015 as Playmation - a new line of wearables, connected toys, and apps that use Bluetooth wireless technology, cloud computing, and the voices of Marvel characters to immerse players in an augmented reality battle between super heroes and super villains.

3 Senior User Experience Designer Rhapsody International - Seattle, WA November 2011 to September 2013 Information Architect specializing in developing Rhapsody s core music application as well as a family of products - bringing them to market. Focused on a lead position specializing in the Android mobile platform. Helped develop a single unified code base by way of the Android Style Guide. My roles included integrating Napster into our product, bringing our featured and MTV video content to all of our products on the web platform, IOS and Android phones and tablets. Worked directly with the developers for a major overhaul and several releases of our core application and it's accompanying cloud services. I also helped to pioneer auto integration with BMW and Ford. Worked on the Rhapsody concert application and developing car mode for our core application. Information Architect / User Experience Designer Microsoft - Startup Business Group - Redmond, WA March 2011 to November 2011 Information Architect tasked with leading the effort to integrate new features within the Microsoft Tag mobile client. I was part of the Startup Business Group which incubates early development of breakthrough technologies until they are adopted into the marketplace. Responsibilities were to develop business requirement documentation at a high level in the early stages of concepting, working directly with developers to push this new technology into the marketplace. T-Mobile USA - Seattle, WA March 2010 to March 2011 Owner Information Architect focused on developing applications for T-Mobile's portfolio of Android phones. I was initially responsible for the evolution of the web2go portal WAP site. Later focusing primarily on application development for several applications that come installed on the T-Mobile phones as well as those offered within Google s Android Marketplace. Responsibilities were focused on information architecture while working with usability teams, visual teams and developers. Additional responsibilities also included developing the visual design and style guide for T-Mobiles Android standards. Brand NewMedia - Seattle, WA January 2000 to March 2011 Owner and Principal of Brand NewMedia, specialized in creative print, web, multimedia and user interface design. Generated creative visions for clients and produced results generating brands, packages, advertisements, and marketing kits using a full spectrum of tools and technologies.

4 AT&T Mobility - Bothell, WA March 2008 to March 2010 Information Architect initially tasked with bringing the U-verse line of products from their antiquated online order process onto the highly successful wireless backend platform. Designed the underlying information architecture for the new U-verse buy flow. Built flash prototypes to stage the usability testing, proving a more successful buy flow. Upon launch, this new buy flow has improved conversion by more than 50%. Worked on iphone center, as well as other emerging devices. Continue to focus on the globalization and standardization of the AT&T.com online buy flows for their growing portfolio of products. Sprint - Lawrence, KS January 2005 to March 2008 Human Factors Engineering Specialist at Sprint, specializing in the information architecture for both the web and the wireless web -- creating intuitive, streamlined, graphical interface design. Designed underlying information architecture for Sprint Digital Lounge, the Music Manager application, new phone handset workflow and functionality, and other supportive digital media software, increasing product usage and adoption rate for new media usage. Senior Art Director Gragg Advertising - Kansas City, MO 2004 to 2005 Senior Art Director at Gragg Advertising, Inc., specializing in direct response marketing and pay-per-lead campaigns using creative print, web, multimedia, television and radio. Generated creative for winning proposals which in turn would follow through to completion. Implemented full marketing campaigns which generated record sales. Senior Art Director/Account Manager LeGuarde - Storefront - Lawrence, KS 2004 to 2004 Senior Art Director at LeGuarde, specializing in ecommerce solutions for customers worldwide. Managed 180+ accounts and Art Directed an internal design team to fulfill creative for those accounts. Became an expert with implementation of StoreFront ecommerce solutions and became an authorized reseller of StoreFront software through Brand NewMedia.

Pioneered a nationwide internet and intranet network of portal websites for college and university newspapers. Created a direct advertising channel for national and local advertisers. Serviced over 400 college and university accounts while building a national brand for an industry first mover. Learned the college market and launched grass roots marketing campaigns on campuses across the country. Recruited many of the 90 employees and helped raise over $8 million in funding in less than a year, ultimately helping to sell the company to an industry leader. Creative Director Play Incorporated - Rancho Cordova, CA 1997 to 1999 Creative director at Play Incorporated, a fast growing internet video technology company. Created the vision that launched 12 new products into the international high-tech market, including packaging, marketing, and advertising. Managed the multi-million dollar annual print budget and helped direct its aggressive advertising budgets. The marketing program achieved success by winning PC Magazine s Best Product of the Year for three consecutive years. Gained world class design recognition from many of the top industry magazines. Owner Managed relationships between customers and Play s team of designers, 3-D animators, and software developers. Conceptualized and developed multiple project launches averaging four per year for three years.
