Other patents are registered or pending in various countries around the world., MobiNET Agent 5.1 January 4, 2016 Support of multiple smart card readers is now available (MobiKEY Fusion3 devices only). In environments requiring the use of a second smart card to elevate access or execution privileges, remote users can now use a secondary MobiKEY Fusion3 device to support this functionality. This feature is available on the Windows, Mac and Linux versions that MobiKEY supports with the exception of Vista on the Host Assets. Both the MobiKEY application software and the MobiNET Agent software must be at version 5.1. MobiKEY 5.0, MobiNET Agent 5.0 Release Notes November 10, Remote Assets running Mac OS X El Capitan are now supported. Mac OS X operating systems now supported by MobiKEY for Remote Assets include: 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan. 2. Remote Assets running Windows 10 are now supported. Windows operating systems now supported by MobiKEY for Remote Assets include: Windows XP 32 bit, Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit, Windows 7, 8.0, 8.1 and and 64 bit. 1 P a g e

2 3. Host Assets running Windows 10 are now supported. Windows operating systems now supported by MobiKEY for Host Assets include: Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit, Windows 7, 8.1 and and 64 bit, Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit and Windows Server 2012 R2 64 bit. 4. Remote audio support for users connecting from Remote Assets using Mac OS X or higher Mac OS X operating systems to Host Assets with the MobiNET Agent software version 5.0 installed. Remote audio support was first promoted for MobiKEY 4.4 users connecting from a Windows Remote Asset. 5. Remote Assets running Linux Mint, Fedora, Ubuntu and CentOS operating systems are now supported (MobiKEY Fusion3 and MobiKEY Classic 3 (MC3) devices only). The following policies are not supported when using Remote Assets running Linux operating systems - Secure Remote Printing, Secure Storage and Secure Remote Scanning. Remote audio support is not available when using Remote Assets running Linux operating systems. 6. Bootable MobiKEY is now an available feature for Remote Assets that permit booting from an external USB device (MobiKEY Fusion3 and MC3 devices only). Bootable MobiKEY is a security feature built into the MobiKEY Fusion3 and MC3 devices that provide the user the option to boot from the MobiKEY device, thus bypassing the Remote Asset s existing operating system. The following policies are not supported when using Bootable MobiKEY - Secure Remote Printing, Secure Storage and Secure Remote Scanning. Remote audio support is not available when using Remote Assets running Bootable MobiKEY. 7. Secure Storage is now an available policy option. This policy option provides an encrypted partition available for secure file storage on the MobiKEY Fusion3 and MC3 devices, encrypted to the user s PIV, CAC or embedded smart card. The encrypted partition only becomes accessible after successful authentication. This policy option is not available on Remote Assets running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, Bootable MobiKEY or Mac OS X operating systems. 8. Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is now supported. IPv6 is the most recent version of the Internet Protocol (IP), the communications protocol that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks and routes traffic across the Internet. 9. 3 MobiKEY 4.5, MobiNET Agent 4.5 Release Notes May 07, Remote Assets running Mac OS X Yosemite are now supported. Mac OS X operating systems now supported by MobiKEY for Remote Assets include: 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, and Yosemite. 2. Secure Remote Scanning is now an available policy option. This policy option provides the ability to scan documents directly to the Host Asset using the MobiKEY user s Remote Asset and scanning resources. The Remote Asset must have a TWAIN compatible scanner attached locally via a USB port and have all the necessary drivers installed for proper local functioning of the scanner. The scanned image is securely transferred to the Host Asset. 3. Improved Session Image Scaling. During a data session, neither the resolution of the Host Asset nor the resolution of the Remote Asset will be changed. The image of the Host Asset will be displayed on the Remote Asset as large as possible, while ensuring that the complete desktop image is visible, as well as preserving the image aspect ratio. 4. MobiKEY 4.4, MobiNET Agent 4.4 Release Notes June 3, Remote audio support is now available for users connecting from Windows Remote Assets to Windows Host Assets with the MobiNET Agent software version 4.4 installed. Supported operating systems include Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit, Windows 7, 8.0 and and 64 bit, Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit, and Windows Server 2012 R2 64 bit. 2. MobiKEY Classic 2 (MC2) devices now have the ability to be reset to factory default settings; clearing the smart card and MobiNET ID state. 3. Performance Improvements: User experience when using MobiKEY and VMware client software. Password Reset enrolment process. Host Asset update procedure. 4. Miscellaneous bug fixes. Note: As of June 30, 2014 Route1 Inc. will no longer support the MobiKEY Classic device. 3 P a g e

4 Known Issues and Limitations 1. Secure Remote Printing - Printing in a remote session is currently supported up to 50 pages. To print PDF documents successfully in a remote session, you must do the following inside Adobe Acrobat prior to printing: File > Print > Advanced - select the Print as image checkbox. Click OK and proceed with your print job. 2. Graphic Acceleration in Windows - Applications that use DirectX graphic acceleration may have issues displaying images properly on the Remote Asset while in a MobiKEY session. It is recommended that you disable these features for best results. Route1 has specific examples of applications that have these features below: A. Adobe Acrobat 9 - When using Adobe Acrobat 9 you must turn off 2D Hardware acceleration. Note 1: These instructions only apply if your hardware setup supports graphics acceleration. Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Rendering - deselect the Use 2D graphics acceleration checkbox. Then restart the application. Note 2: This does not apply to Adobe Reader. B. Adobe Creative Suite 4 - If you wish to use Adobe Creative Suite 4 in a remote session, follow these instructions: Note: These instructions only apply if your hardware setup supports graphics acceleration. Bridge: Edit > Preferences > Advanced - select the Use Software Rendering checkbox. Note: On Adobe Bridge, the option to enable and disable software rendering is greyed out by default on Assets that do not have the ability to disable software rendering. Photoshop: Edit > Preferences > Performance - deselect the Enable Open GL Drawing checkbox. In both cases, you should restart the application in question to have the changes take effect. 4 P a g e

5 3. Locking the Host Asset inside a MobiKEY session - The Windows Key + L combination that locks the Host Asset is not supported within a session. If you have to lock your Host Asset inside a session and remain connected, you must press Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and then select Lock Computer. 4. Encryption - MobiKEY 2.8 and later supports AES 256 encryption during a MobiKEY session. However, to take advantage of this feature, both the MobiNET Agent software and the MobiKEY application software in the session must be running version 2.8 or later. 5. Changing the Resolution of the Host Asset inside a MobiKEY session when the Remote Asset has multiple monitors - Depending on the arrangement and geometries of the Remote Asset s monitors, a portion of a non-primary Remote Asset s monitor may be visible during a session after the resolution of the Host Asset changes. 6. Keyboard state synchronization - When starting the MobiKEY application software on a Mac OS X Remote Asset, if the keyboard Caps Lock feature is engaged, it is possible that the MobiKEY user interface will not reflect the state of this modifier key correctly until the Caps Lock state is toggled. 7. Connecting to a Host Asset immediately after a previous session disconnects - If the MobiNET Agent software on a Host Asset is configured to Force log off when a session disconnects, the Host Asset will not be able to accept a new connection while this operation is still being completed. On a Host Asset with fast hardware, this will only take a few seconds. However, on slower hardware, it may take up to 300 seconds for the log off operation to complete. 8. Switching between applications during a MobiKEY session with a Windows 8 Host Asset - Windows 8 does not support the Alt+Tab key combination sent through a MobiKEY session. Use the Windows taskbar on the Host Asset s desktop to switch between applications. 9. Accessing a Windows 8 Host Asset with MobiKEY Fusion - MobiKEY Fusion users with smart cards manufactured by Oberthur Technologies may experience difficulties connecting to Windows 8 Host Assets running ActivClient 7.0. This issue may be rectified by disabling caching in ActivClient. 10. PIN prompt during a MobiKEY Fusion session - When the PIN prompt appears at the start of the MobiKEY Fusion session, the Host Asset s operating system starts a timer and if no user action is taken before the timer expires, the PIN prompt will be removed. In order to access the PIN prompt again if this happens, disconnect and reconnect to the Host Asset. 5 P a g e

6 11. Windows 8 wallpaper is not restored after a session - Users may experience the issue where the Windows 8 wallpaper is not restored after a session. This issue can be rectified by deselecting the Remove wallpaper option within the MobiNET Agent software settings under the MobiKEY session options. 6 P a g e
