9 CHAPTER 2 Functional Changes Comprehensive Property Exchange Catia Standard Properties as well as User Defined Properties are exchanged in both directories and also available in the customization methods for Part creation. Browse Selected Items Improvement Browse Selected Items in the CMI Workbench shows a specific class browser with the selected Items. Extended Support for Catia Components The configurable behavior ignore for CATIA Components can now be used for Products that do not represent standard Parts. It can also be used inside a CMI Archive. New Platform: Linux Suse Enterprise 9 is now supported as a Teamcenter Server Platform. Memory management Teamcenter memory management has been revised, to improve performance and avoid server growth that may lead to out-of-memory errors. JT Creation A use case document detailing how to configure Teamcenter to create JTs with Com/Fox is available upon request. CMI Release Notes 3

10 CHAPTER 3 New Environment Variables CATIA V5 Set CMI_USE_FILENAME_WINDOWTITLE=ON to show the file name in windows opened by CMI. The default is to show the Partnumber. Teamcenter Enterprise Set GCVMI_DISABLE_CGR_LINK_V5 ON to disable creation of links for CGRs in the released cache when links are enabled in the exchangemap (GCVMI_ENABLE_LINK ON ). Links in the released cache were disabled in CMI 9.3 but are now again created by default. 4 CMI Release Notes

13 Nomenclature PartNumber Use nvsget to retrieve the values of these properties. The default implementation of these methods can be found in the file x3custom.mth.
