No : 012/2013 All Members, Sub: Mock trading on Saturday, March 02, 2013, New version of Advanced NEAT F&O (1.0.7), NEAT F&O (9.3.3) and NEAT Plus (7.0.9) In continuation to our circular 092/2012 (Download No ) dated December 21, 2012, Exchange will be conducting a mock trading (contingency) session in the Futures & Options Segment on Saturday, March 02, 2013 as per the following schedule: Saturday, March 02, 2013 Normal Market open time Normal Market close time Position Limit/Collateral value Set up cut off time Trade modification end time Live Re-login start time Broadcast of mock successful/unsuccessful message Live Re-login close time Time 09:00 hrs. 12:00 hrs. 12:10 hrs. 12:10 hrs. 14:30 hrs. 14:45 hrs. 15:00 hrs. The new version shall be available from March 01, 2013 at 17:00 hours onwards on NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon. The new version carries the change in the label in Index Broadcast window (Top right corner) and in Multiple Index Broadcast/ Graph Screen for the following indices: S&P CNX NIFTY to CNX NIFTY S&P CNX DEFTY to CNX DEFTY S&P CNX 500 to CNX 500 The current version and the new version shall both be supported up to April 5, With effect from April 08, 2013 only the new version shall be supported. 3 Annexure 1 Important instructions regarding mock trading session 1. Trades resulting from the mock trading session shall not attract any obligation in terms of funds and / or securities pay-in and pay-out. 2. Members are also requested not to transfer any data files for the mock trading session. 3. The successful / unsuccessful outcome of the mock trading session shall be intimated to members through a message broadcast as per above schedule. 4. Members using NEAT F&O, NEATPlus, Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) and CTCL facility (using their CTCL software) are advised to participate actively in the mock trading session and are required to re-login into live environment during the above mentioned timings to check the connectivity and also to avoid login problems on Monday, March 04, After successful completion of mock trading, the current and new versions of NEAT F&O, NEATPlus and Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) shall both co exists up to April 05, In case of technical queries, members are advised to contact helpdesk no: Regd. 4 ANNEXURE 2 Installation procedure for new version of Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) (Version 1.0.7) Precautions: 1. Members are advised to install the new version only after end of live trading hours and after all end of day activities have been completed on Friday, March 01, Existing Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) users are advised to save their Client/Debarred records by using save functionality in Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro). Additionally, members are also requested to take export of Market Watch screen. These files can be used to restore backup in case of revert procedure mentioned in Annexure NEAT-F&O Members who want to install NEATPro but wish to retain their Client and Debarred client Master details from their existing NEAT-F&O setup are advised to save their Client/Debarred records by using save functionality in the NEAT-F&O application and later upload the saved file in the NEATPro application using the upload functionality in Client/Debarred client modules. 4. Similarly, NEAT Members who wish to retain existing market watch screen details from their NEAT-F&O setup are advised to take backup of the file MW***.dat. This file can be found in \NSEOP\BACKUP directory on logon drive. This backed up file can then be uploaded in the NEATPro by using import functionality provided on right click of the Market Watch screen in the NEATPro application. For further information, kindly refer to the section on Import-Export for Market Watch in the Help File. 5. Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) application does not support Admin user login. To obtain trade and give up files currently available in NEAT Admin terminal in the same format, members are advised to login to NOTIS F&O application on Connect2NSE. 6. It is not recommended to install Advanced NEAT-F&O (NEATPro) and NEATPlus applications on the same machine. Installation: 1. Installation files can be downloaded from NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon/neatpro107 after 5 PM on Friday, March 01, Download the setup file NEATProFO.exe to your local hard disk drive (C:\) and double click on it to run the installer. Select the Installation drive. Click on Install button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions. 3. Go to NEATProDB-TWS folder and run NEAT-FO.exe. The user can also run NEATPro TWS application by double clicking on NEAT-FO shortcut icon created on the desktop. Updating the new version with latest data: 1. Download and unzip following files from NSE EXTRANET path /faoftp/faocommon/ to your local hard disk drive (C:\): a) contract.gz b) spd_contract.gz c) fo_participant.gz d) security.gz 2. From the log on screen click on the UPLOAD button to update the contract, security, participant and spread combination contract details. Regd. 5 Precautions: ANNEXURE 3 Installation procedure for new version of NEAT F&O (Version 9.3.3) 1. Members are advised to install the new version only after end of live trading hours and after all end of day activities have been completed on Friday, March 01, Members are advised to take back up of all report files before upgrading the software. 2. Members who wish to retain their existing market watch screen and client master are advised to take backup of the files 'mw****.dat and cl****.dat respectively (**** = userid). These files can be found at '\NSEOP\BACKUP' directory on the logon drive. 3. Members using Debarred Client Functionality are required to retain their existing Debarred Client list by taking backup of the file deb****.dat (**** = userid). The file can be found in '\NSEOP\BACKUP' directory on the logon drive. 4. Members using Order Price limits functionality can retain their price limits settings by taking backup of the file NSEOP\BACKUP\ldbordprilmt****.dat (**** = userid). 5. Members can retain their transaction costs settings of Net Position, if required by taking backup of the file NSEOP\BACKUP\BakSetCharge**** (**** = userid). 6. Members are advised to use the recommended minimum screen resolution of 800x600 for NEAT-F&O. Installation: 1. Installation files shall be available after 5 PM on Friday, March 01, 2013 on path /faoftp/faocommon/ver933 on NSE EXTRANET 2. Download the files spreltdr and opneattdr.bat to your local hard disk drive (C:\ or D:\) and double click opneattdr.bat file to run the installer. 3. Go to NSEOP folder and run NEATOP.EXE Updating the new version with latest data: 1. Download and unzip following files from NSE EXTRANET path /faoftp/faocommon/ to your local hard disk drive (C:\ or D:\): a) contract.gz b) fo_participant.gz c) security.gz d) spd_contract.gz 2. Place the old mw****.dat, cl****.dat, deb****.dat, ldbordprilmt****.dat and BakSetCharge**** files in C:\NSEOP\BACKUP directory. 3. From the log on screen click on the UPLOAD button to update the contract, security, participant and spread combination contract details. Regd. 6 ANNEXURE 4 Installation procedure for NEATPlus (Version 7.0.9) Precautions: 1. Members are advised to install the new version only after end of live trading hours and after all end of day activities have been completed on Friday, March 01, Members are advised to take back up of all required data to a location other than NEATProDB- TWS and NEATProData-TWS folders before upgrading the software. 3. Members are advised to take back up of client master through client master maintenance and debarred client master through debarred client master maintenance. 4. Members are advised to take back up of Market watch through export functionality. Installation: 1. Installation files can be downloaded from NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon/neatplus709 after 5 PM on Friday, March 01, Download the setup file NEATPlusTWSSetup.exe to your local hard disk drive (C:\) and double click on it to run the installer. Select the Installation drive. Click on Install button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions. 3. Go to NEATProDB-TWS folder and run NEATPlusTWS.exe. The user can run NEATPlus TWS application by double clicking on NEATPlusTWS shortcut icon created on the desktop. Updating the new version with latest data: 1. Download and unzip following files from NSE EXTRANET path /faoftp/faocommon/ to your local hard disk drive (C:\): a) contract.gz b) spd_contract.gz c) fo_participant.gz d) security.gz e) participant.gz 2. 7 ANNEXURE 5 Precautions and procedure for reverting to earlier version These instructions are required to be followed to ensure that members are able to revert back to old version of NEATPro and NEATPlus to trade efficiently on Monday, March 04, 2013 in the unfortunate event of the mock being declared unsuccessful. Steps to be followed for reverting to old version of NEATPro, NEAT-F&O & NEATPlus: NEATPro Download the setup file for old version NEATProFO.exe from NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon/neatpro106 to your local hard disk drive (C:\). If prompted, choose to overwrite the existing file. Installation of NEATPro old version (1.0.6): Double click on the file NEATProFO.exe again. Select the same drive from which the earlier version was un-installed. Click on Install button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions. NEAT F&O Download the setup files for old version (spreltdr and opneattdr.bat) from NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon/ver932 to your local hard disk drive (C:\). If prompted, choose to overwrite the existing files. Double click opneattdr.bat file to run the installer. Place the old mw****.dat, cl****.dat, deb****.dat, ldbordprilmt****.dat and BakSetCharge**** files in C:\NSEOP\BACKUP directory. Download and unzip the fresh contract.gz, spd_contract.gz, fo_participant.gz and security.gz file from NSE EXTRANET path /faoftp/faocommon and upload them on your log on drive NEATPlus Download the setup file for old version NEATPlusTWSSetup.exe from NSE EXTRANET path faoftp/faocommon/neatplus708 to your local hard disk drive (C:\). If prompted, choose to overwrite the existing file. Installation of NEATPlus old version (7.0.8): Double click on NEATPlusTWSSetup.exe (Version 7.0.8). Select the same drive from which the earlier version was un-installed. Click on Install button on this pop up window and follow the installation instructions. Restore the backup of Market Watch, Client Master and Debarred Client Master and update the version with the latest data (as mentioned in Annexure 2, 3 and 4) Regd.
