2 Introduction Welcome to the new and improved version of the ebay Turbo Lister. If you re already using Turbo Lister, you know that Turbo Lister makes listing lots of items to ebay quicker and easier than the traditional Sell Your Item form. This Upgrade Guide will help you transition to the newest version so you can start enjoying even greater ease of listing right away. The purpose of this document is to assist you in moving your data from the current Turbo Lister, referred to as Turbo Lister 1 in this guide, to the new Turbo Lister, referred to as Turbo Lister 2. You ll find stepby-step instructions and helpful images. Please read through the entire document before beginning the first step. Note: If you are a new Turbo Lister user, simply download it from and follow the installation instructions on your screen. This guide provides instructions for users who need to transfer data from the old version of Turbo Lister into the new one. Step 1: Backup your current Turbo Lister database A. Back-up your current Turbo Lister 1 database to make sure your data will be safely transferred to the new Turbo Lister 2. In Turbo Lister 1, go to File -> Backup Database. B. Turbo Lister will prompt you to save your database in your computer. Click OK. C. Wait until your backup is complete. NEW ebay Turbo Lister Upgrade Guide 2

3 Step 2: Close your current Turbo Lister application A. If you have your current Turbo Lister application open, click on File -> Exit or click on the symbol at the top right corner of your application. Note: Turbo Lister 1 and Turbo Lister 2 cannot be open at the same time. Note: Do not uninstall Turbo Lister 1 at this time. Uninstalling Turbo Lister 1 is not necessary and not recommended while moving your data. Step 3: Download and Install the new ebay Turbo Lister A. Go to the new Turbo Lister web-page: B. Click on the download button on this page. C. Choose to save the file to your computer. D. For easy access, save the file to your Windows Desktop. Note: Please be patient while the file is being transferred to your computer. This could take a few minutes or hours depending on your internet connection. NEW ebay Turbo Lister Upgrade Guide 3

4 E. After download, click run from the download complete dialogue OR double-click the installation icon on your desktop to extract and install the application. F. Follow the steps indicated in the installation Wizard. G. Select the location for your Turbo Lister 2 files. Use the recommended path, or chose the path or location you prefer for your Turbo Lister 2 files. Note: You must choose a location different from your Turbo Lister 1 files. H. 5 Step 4: Import Listings from Turbo Lister 1 Transfer listings that you have already saved directly from Turbo Lister 1 to Turbo Lister 2 by doing the following: A. Open the new Turbo Lister by double clicking the new ebay Turbo Lister 2 icon on your desktop. B. Select Transfer user files from Turbo Lister 1.0 from the Welcome to Turbo Lister window and click Next. C. Select all user files you want to import to Turbo Lister 2. After selecting the files, click Next. D. The selected user files and all related listing information will then be imported into Turbo Lister 2. NEW ebay Turbo Lister Upgrade Guide 5

6 That s all there is to it! You can now start using the new version of Turbo Lister to list your items. Note: Turbo Lister 1 and Turbo Lister 2 cannot be open at the same time. Note: It is recommended that you do not uninstall Turbo Lister 1 for a few months in the even that you need to retrieve some of your data.
