3 Software Installation 4 5. Insert Car-O-Soft Classic CD (if it s not Autostart, locate the CD driver in explorer and double-click, or run AutoPlay). Press Next. Install direct under C (do not create new folders), Press Next 4. Press Next and the installation starts. 5. Press Finished.

Insert the latest Car-O-Data DVD (if it s not Autostart, locate the CD driver in explorer and double-click, or run AutoPlay) (We prefer everybody to start work with the DVD (easier to install and save a lot of time).. Choose Car-O-Tronic.. Choose the correct software. 4. Choose the correct version of the software. 5. Select language, accept terms in licensee agreements, press OK 4

6 Car-O-Data Installation 4 Stage, installation of data.installation procedure is the normal standard, just click Next, Next, etc..choose between install data on the hard drive or not (YES is recommended).. Installation of data starts (depends on the performance of the computer it takes 0-0min. If the CD is used instead of DVD a window will appear several times that told you what number of Car-O-Data to insert. 4.When installation is done, press Finish and close all the menu. 6

7 Registration Start Car-O-Soft Classic from the icon on desktop and the registration process starts.. Type in the CD key make sure the correct letters and numbers are typed in, the machineid is filled in automatically, press next.. If the computer is online a link appear press the link, if not go to for registration. 4. Choose Product registration. 5. Choose Software. 6. Choose the correct software Car-O-Soft Classic. 7

8 Registration Type in CD key 6.Type in machineid 7.Press Continue 8.Type in customer and a password (if it s a existing customer make sure the same and password been used) press Next If the customer not have a mail address use lastname.company name example, Nilsson.Car-O-Liner 9.Type in serialnumber of the Car-O-Tronic, personal and company information, accept the licence and press Save 8

9 Alt. Install user rights, Lockup Code Alt. Lockup Code (only for complete subscription). If the registration has been done on a another computer, print out or write down the lockup code.. Type in the lockup code in the lockup code field.. Press the padlock and the software, the user rights has now been installed. 9

10 Alt. Install user rights, Lockup File Alt. Lockup file (for complete, make and single vehicle subscription). If the registration has been done on a another computer, save the lockupfile on a memory stick.. Close all windows (on the Car-O-Soft Classic installed computer).. Run (double click) the lockupfile, the Car-O-Soft Classic software starts and the user rights has now been installed. 0

11 Calibration files installation Insert the CD with the calibration files on.. Press Unzip.. When finished press Close. 4. Open up Car-O-Soft Classic, choose System functions. 5. Choose Communication, CD, Language. 6. Type in the serial number of the Car-O-Tronic. 7. Press search. 8. The calibration files has now been successful installed.
