3 introduction description The SFT 2801 application is a software tool that may be used instead of the "TSM 2001 pocket terminal" under Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.0. Furthermore, the SFT 2801 application provides additional functions for reading, printing and storage of Sepam 2000 parameters and for retrieving disturbance records. It is installed on a PC connected to the front of Sepam 2000 via an adapter. functions All the TSM 2001 pocket terminal functions are included in the SFT 2801 application. The functions used to read and set the various Sepam 2000 parameters (measurements, protections, etc.) in the software version of TSM 2001 are similar to the pocket terminal functions (dialog via menus and submenus; cf manual ref ). The following additional functions are made available by the software version : general readout of Sepam 2000 characteristics. saving and restoring of all Sepam 2000 characteristics. printing of a report containing the values of all the Sepam 2000 characteristics. retrieval of a disturbance record saving of a disturbance record required set-up The minimum set-up is given in the installation section.
