2 WAVEFIRE connect QUICKSTART GUIDE Installing Wavefire Connect 1 Double click the WavefireConnectSetup.exe to begin installation of Wavefire Connect. The Wavefire Connect installation wizard will begin. Note the link to the Licence Terms. Click the Install button. 2 The installation process will now begin. 3 After a few moments, depending on the speed of your computer, Wavefire Connect will be installed and you see the 'Setup Successful' screen - click 'Close'. Connecting To Your Applications 4 Located on your desktop and the start menu will be the Wavefire Connect icon. Double click it to logon to your cloud applications You may be presented with a Windows Security Alert. Please click Allow Access 5 Page 2 - Quickstart Guide

3 To connect to your applications Wavefire Connect requires a few details. The first is your Vendor ID. This will have been supplied to you by your vendor. Please enter it into the box and click Done. 6 7 You will now be presented with the login screen. Input your cloud server, domain name and user name provided by your vendor. Click the Done button. 8 Enter the password provided by your vendor. You may choose whether to have Wavefire Connect remember it for next time. Click the Connect button. Depending on your network\internet speed Wavefire Connect will now connect you to your applications. If you encounter issues with connecting please refer to the Advanced Settings guide. 4 9 10 From the applications window double clicking on the icon launches the application. When you've finished with your applications and you've saved all of your work, click on the menu button at the top of the Wavefire Connect window and click 'Exit' Page 4 - Quickstart Guide

5 WAVEFIRE connect ADVANCED USER GUIDE There are a number of settings that enable further functionality and can help troubleshoot connection issues. These are found in Advanced Settings which can accessed from either the initial login window or from the drop down menu. The advanced settings screen has four tabs: Account Settings Local Resources & Devices Proxy Options General Options Page 5 - Advanced User Guide

6 Account Settings The first window is Account Settings. Here you can change your server and login details and choose whether Wavefire Connect remembers your password. To save any changes made click the OK button. From this window you can also test your network\internet connection for trouble shooting purposes. Clicking the Test button will validate your server name and check your internet speed and response times. Green is excellent with no issues to report. Orange indicates a not ideal Internet speed and you may experience performance issues. Red indicates a potential problem with your Internet connection\speed and we advise you speak with your Internet Service Provider or local IT support. Performance is likely to be impacted greatly. 7 Local Resources & Devices In the second tab of advanced settings you can configure sound redirection and whether to allow other local peripherals, such as local disk drives, printers and serial ports; to have access to your cloud applications. Again to save any changes click the OK button. General Options The General Options window allows you to change the look and feel of your applications. Choose your connection speed (if known) for Wavefire to automatically determine the best settings for you or you can change the performance setting to suit your own preference. In general you should not need to change these settings. Proxy Options The final tab is for configuration of proxy options. If you are behind a proxy appliance\server you can enter the correct options and authentication settings here. Page 7 - Advanced User Guide

8 Changing your Password and Profile Once you are successfully connected to Wavefire, you can change your user profile and password using the buttons below the application list. Change Password Edit Profile Help and Support Information about your vendor can be found via Help located in the drop down menu. Updating the Wavefire client A new version of Wavefire Connect will be available from time to time. To check for updates and install them if you so wish go to Help located in the drop down menu. Wavefire Connect will automatically check for updates. Clicking the link will download the update. Close Wavefire Connect and then run the new installer.
