1 AUTOSOFT INTEGRATION WITH VW OEM & VCI VW INTERFACE The AutoSoft DMS and Finance Assistant Integration with VW OEM and VCI These pages list all the Volkswagen OEM and VCI Interfaces available for your AutoSoft DMS and Finance Assistance systems. Please note that you must have BOTH the DMS and Finance systems. The ASI and VW OEM Interface Solution Accounting Volkswagen Financial Statement The AutoSoft Accounting module includes a feature designed specifically for Volkswagen dealers to prepare and print the Audi Financial Statement. The financial statement feature pulls data from your general ledger and prints all four pages of the standard Volkswagen financial statement. Service Writing Volkswagen/Audi Warranty The Service Writing program in AutoSoft DMS is designed to allow dealers to generate Volkswagen and Audi-specific warranty repair orders. The repair orders are created using the standard R/O entry using the Repair Orders menu. Once you generate and close your Volkswagen or Audi warranty claims, you use the Volkswagen/Audi warranty interface to enter additional warranty information or to correct information on the claim. Once you enter the information, you can view it, print it, and download it to Volkswagen or Audi as needed. Parts Inventory Volkswagen/Audi Parts Interface This utility allows Volkswagen and Audi dealers to download and receive the following parts files: Parts Orders Parts Returns Answerbacks VW OEM and VCI Integration Fees The Volkswagen Integration software requires a one-time Initial Setup Fee of $ With the setup fee, you get the AutoSoft Utilities software, AutoSoft Integration services, the Cyclone Interchange software, and full installation and configuration is provided by AutoSoft. In addition to the initial setup fee, there is a Monthly Software Support Fee of $ Together, VW OEM Interfaces and AutoSoft DMS make managing your dealership easier. 2 AUTOSOFT INTEGRATION WITH VW OEM & VCI The AutoSoft Finance Assistant and the Volkswagen Credit, Inc. solution AutoSoft's Finance Assistant integration with Volkswagen Credit, Inc. (VCI), provides a seamless, real-time solution to acquiring credit for your customers through VW Credit, Audi Financial Services and Bentley Financial Services. This feature reduces the amount of time to finance a deal by 5-10 minutes. The credit application and decision can be viewed within your Dealership Management Software. VCI provides validation of the credit application and they return user friendly error messages to aid the user in finding any issues with the credit application. Dealer Enrollment and Installation Steps 1. You must call AutoSoft or complete the necessary VCI enrollment form in Finance and submit it to AutoSoft. Upon receipt of your enrollment form, AutoSoft will notify Oxlo of your desire to implement Volkswagen Credit, Inc. 2. AutoSoft will add the dealer to Oxlo s system and submit a request for dealer deployment. This process takes about 24 hours. 3. Once AutoSoft receives your communication credentials we will install the Volkswagen Credit, Inc. software and the appropriate contracts. At that time the VCI software installation is complete for the scheduled "Go Live" date. VCI integration provides Volkswagen retailers a fast and convenient way to electronically submit credit applications to Volkswagen for validation and approval. 3 HELPING DEALERS IMPROVE OPERATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE VW Integration Requirements The VW Integration project involves file transfers between the dealer and Volkswagen. Prior to enrolling in this project, your system must meet the following requirements. 1. AutoSoft server must have at least 2 Gigabytes of memory. This is needed to support the application responsible for the VW Integrated communications. 2. The AutoSoft server must have the following server operating system Windows 2003 Server standard or better: Microsoft.NET framework 2.0 or later Microsoft SQL 2005 Express Windows 2003 Service Pack 2 Internet Explorer 6.0 or later All Microsoft server updates.net Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 Please note Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Server and Professional are not supported. 3. AutoSoft VW Integration team must have remote desktop access or terminal service access to the server. The log on account must be part of the domain administrators and/or local administrators groups. 4. The dealer's firewall must allow Internet traffic on ports 3389, 7069, and to and should forward them to the AutoSoft server in the LAN. The ports 3389 and 7069 should be available for the network block /27. However, the entire Internet must have access to the port to Protocols HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SMTP are essential to VW communication and should not be restricted at the firewall for the AutoSoft server. 5. The dealership must have a static IP number. If the static IP number changes for any reason, AutoSoft VW Integration team must be notified at least two days in advance. You should note that whenever an IP number changes, VW cannot send files to the dealership for a day or two. Therefore, it is critical that the IP number remains as static. 6. The AutoSoft server must have SQL Express 2005 and.net framework 2.0 installed. When installing the SQL authentication mode should be selected. These six requirements must be met in order to have VW Integration.

Check the OS Name item in the window on the right. This should identify your operating system. If you are running Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, check the Version item (directly under the OS Name) to verify Service Pack 2 is installed. Please note Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 Server and Professional are not supported Windows 2003 Server Other (Please note that only Microsoft Windows 2003 Server standard or better with Service Pack 2 is supported) 2. What type of processor does the server use? To check the processor, click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Information. Check the Processor item in the window on the right to identify your processor speed. 3. How much RAM is installed in your AutoSoft server? How much free disk space do you have? To check the amount of free disk space, click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Information. Click the + next to Components. Click the + next to Storage. Click Drives. Locate the drive with the description "Local Fixed Drive." This should be either C: or D:. Check the Free Space item to identify the amount of free disk space available. 5. Do you have Internet access from your AutoSoft server? If you have Internet access, you have TCP/IP network interface. Yes No

Contact your Internet service provider (ISP) if you are unsure which type of Internet access you have. Do you have a static Internet IP address? Contact your ISP to verify if you have a static IP address. If you don t, you will need to make arrangements with your ISP to get a static IP. 6 AutoSoft Volkswagen Integration License Agreement AutoSoft VW Integration software is released to vendors and their clients with the understanding that it be used only by authorized Volkswagen dealers and under strict accordance with the provisions set forth below. AutoSoft International reserves the right to refuse or rescind usage rights if any of these provisions are not met. By signing this Agreement you are accepting the provisions disclosed herein. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT AutoSoft International is the developer, support provider and Licensor of the software product(s) herein described. This software product(s) is licensed and not sold. Copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as intellectual property laws and treaties protect the software product(s) provided by AutoSoft International. Under the terms of this agreement the End User (Licensee), either an individual or a single entity is granted a nontransferable license for the use the software product(s) described as: 1. Title and ownership of the software product(s) remains with AutoSoft International. The End User (Licensee) may not assign, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, transfer, or lend the software product(s) 2. The End User (Licensee) may not copy, translate, reverse engineer, modify, decompile or attempt to disassemble the software product(s), or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or structural framework of the software product(s), except to copy the program and data within for backup purposes in support of the End User s (Licensee s) continued use of the software product(s) 3. The End User (Licensee) is entitled to the use of all related media, printed materials and electronic documentation associated with the software product(s). 4. If the End User (Licensee) fails to comply with any portion of this agreement, AutoSoft International may terminate this agreement. Upon termination the End User (Licensee) agrees to destroy the software product(s), copies of the software product(s) and all of its component parts. 5. The End User (Licensee) agrees that AutoSoft International has incurred expenses related to the development, and or support of the software product(s), and is entitled, and agrees to provide fair remuneration for the software product and support thereof under the terms of this agreement. 6. The End User (Licensee) agrees to pay AutoSoft International the initial setup fee of $ to initiate this agreement and a license fee of $85.00 monthly, thereafter to maintain the terms of this agreement. 7. The End User (Licensee) may cancel this agreement upon 30 day written notification to AutoSoft International of the End User s (Licensee s) discontinued use of the software product(s) LIMITED WARRANTY AutoSoft International warrants that the software product(s) will perform substantially in accordance with any related marketing material, written documentation, or specifications provided to the End User (Licensee) prior to, or during the term of this agreement by AutoSoft International, or its authorized representatives, for a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the software product(s), provided the software product(s) is used on an operating system for which it was designed. AutoSoft International further warrants that the media on which the software product(s) provided will be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 90 days. AutoSoft International s sole obligation and liability for breach of the foregoing warranties shall be to repair or replace the software product(s) and or defective media, as the case may be. Any modification or attempts to modify the software product(s) by anyone other than AutoSoft International voids the foregoing warranty. No other warranties or conditions are expressed and none shall be implied, including, but not limited to the software product(s) and or software support services provided by AutoSoft International or its authorized representatives. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY In no event shall AutoSoft International be held liable by the End User (Licensee) for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to the loss of business profits, business interruption or any other loss arising out of the End User (Licensee) use of or inability to use the software product(s) or the provision of or failure to provide software support services relating to the software product(s) even if AutoSoft International has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
