4 1. Workflow Scheduler 1.1 Introduction Workflow Scheduler executes continuous processes automatically by helping in saving time required for executing those processes on periodic basis. Pragmasys s Workflow Scheduler provides the ability to schedule workflows on the following basis: Daily Weekly Monthly Specific Day of the Week Once a Week/ Month After Specific Time Interval 2. Workflow Scheduler Installation 2.1 Steps to Configure Workflow scheduler on CRM: 1. Login into MS CRM using the System Administrator/Customizer role. 2. Navigate to Customizations>Solutions>Import the solutions. 3. Import the solution named pragmalicensing_1_0_0_0_managed and PragmaWorkflowScheduler_1_0_0_0_managed. 4. Close the window once the solution installed successfully. Page 4 of 19

6 2.2 Steps to Install Workflow scheduler in on premise environment: In order to install the workflow stall Workflow Scheduler on your computer, double click on WorkflowScheduler.Service.Setup.msi setup file. It will run the application and install the utility on your PC creating WorkflowScheduler.Service.Setup folder and WorkflowScheduler.Service service. When you clicked on WorkflowScheduler.Service.Setup file, workflow Scheduler set up wizard window will be displayed and click on Next. Page 6 of 19

7 Browse the path, where you want to install and click Next. Click Next. System will navigate to confirm Installation window. Page 7 of 19

9 On completion of installation, a folder named WorkflowScheduler.Service.Setup will be created in the selected path and a service named WorkflowScheduler.Service will be available under the Services.msc utility in the system. Page 9 of 19

10 Navigate to the path provided during installation and then open the file named WorkflowSchedulerWindowsService.exe of type CONFIG and enter the information in below mentioned format. Page 10 of 19

11 Open the Services.msc and then start the services for the Workflow scheduler. Page 11 of 19

12 2.3 Steps to Configure Workflow scheduler on Azure Portal: Create a service bus using the Azure portal 1. Login into the Azure portal. 2. In the left navigation pane of the portal, click New, then click Enterprise Integration, and then click Service Bus. 3. In the Create namespace dialog, enter a namespace name. The system immediately checks to see if the name is available. 4. After making sure the namespace name is available, choose the pricing tier (Basic, Standard, or Premium). 5. In the Subscription field, choose an Azure subscription in which to create the namespace. 6. In the Resource group field, choose an existing resource group in which the namespace will live, or create a new one. 7. In Location, choose the country or region in which your namespace should be hosted. 8. Click Create. The system now creates your namespace and enables it. You might have to wait several minutes as the system provisions resources for your account. Page 12 of 19

13 2.3.2 Obtain the management credentials 1. In the list of namespaces, click the newly created namespace name. 2. In the namespace blade, click Shared access policies. 3. In the Shared access policies blade, click RootManageSharedAccessKey. 4. In the Policy: RootManageSharedAccessKey blade, click the copy button next to Connection string primary key, to copy the connection string to your clipboard for later use. Paste this value into Notepad or some other temporary location. Page 13 of 19

In the left navigation pane of the portal, click Service Bus (if you don't see Service Bus, click More services). 2. Select the namespace that you would like to create the queue in. In this case, it is workflowschedulersb. 3. In the Service Bus namespace blade, select Queues, then click Add queue. Page 14 of 19

15 4. Enter the Queue Name and leave the other values with their defaults. Queue name: workflowschedulerqueue Storage Account and Cloud Service configuration 1. Create a storage account with appropriate details. Page 15 of 19

16 2. Click on New > Compute and select Cloud service. 3. Create a Cloud service and add the packages from the drive where the package is available. Page 16 of 19

18 2.3.5 Plugin Registration Tool Setting 1. Connect your organization with plugin registration tool 2. Click and open ServiceEndpoint 3. Update below fields in the service endpoint registration with your connection string data Name: Queuename servicebusname Ex. Workflowschedulerqueue workflowschedulersb NameSpace Address: endpoint from connectionstring Ex. sb://workflowschedulersb.servicebus.windows.net/ Designation Type: Queue Queue Name: queuename Ex. Workflowschedulerqueue Message Format:.NETBinary Authorization Type: SASKey SAS Key Name: key name from connection string Ex.
