2 Add camera to app 2.1 App Setup Before setup, please connect your phone to Wi-Fi firstly. 2.2 Download App There are two ways to download App: Method 1: Download "TENVISTY" from the app Store or Google Play Store. Method 2: Scan the QR code to download the app. 2.3 Add IP Camera to App Before you start: If you want to set the IP camera via Wi-Fi, please refer to Method 1; If you want to set the IP camera via Ethernet cable, please refer to Method 2; If you want to set the IP camera via AP, please refer to Method 3. 2.3.1 Method 1. Add camera via Wi-Fi Plug the camera, wait for a while until camera beep sound. Attention: If there is no beeping sound, press the reset button and hold it for approximately 10 seconds until there is a successful music. After running the "TENVISTY" app, please add the camera as following steps (take Android as an example):

Power the camera and wait it s self-test. Press the Reset button for 4s-6s, beep sound will stop. The camera is in AP mode. 2. During it s AP mode, camera will open it s Wi-Fi, named after IPC- X(X represents for the middle numbers of camera UID). The camera Wi-Fi password is 01234567. When camera is in AP mode, please connect your phone to camera Wi-Fi and configure it to your home Wi-Fi as following steps(take Android as an example).

3.1 Real-time video After connected camera to your App, App will turn to camera list interface, click to enter real-time video mode.(note: Then click on the right to watch real-time video in full screen.) 3.3Manual snapshot and manual recording Click on the left bottom of real-time video interface to capture picture, click on the right bottom to record live video.(note: Manual snapshots and manual recordings are stored in phone, click to watch snapshots and recordings.) 3.5 Pan & Tilt When viewing the live stream, you can slide the camera right, left, up or down, the camera will rotate according to your move. 3.6 Alarm push Back to Camera list after successing adding camera in App, please add the camera as following steps: App will push alarm notification if camera detects motion. App will push alarm notification once every 1 minute if there is continuous motions. 4 Frequently Asked Questions 4.1 Notes for Wi-Fi configuration of IP camera. 1. Please confirm that your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz before configuration. 2. The Wi-Fi encryption must be WPA/WPA2. 3. Make sure that no unsupported characters, such as"\`$($[${, are used in the Wi-Fi password and the SSID. 4. Enable the DHCP in the Router. 5. Please place the camera near your router and your phone and connect it to a stable network. 6. The indoor camera will give out a "ding-dong" sound when configuring the Wi-Fi, and so please turn up the phone volume for better configuration. If you need to configure an outdoor IP camera, please power the camera on and press the reset button for about 10 seconds to restore it to the factory. settings before configuration. 4.2 Does the video camera record sound? The App plays alarm videos and full-length videos with sound recorded in the remote video. If the dual-way audio function is not turned on manually during manual recording, there will be no sound when you play back the manually recorded video. 4.3 Why can't dual-way audio work? 1. Check if you turn on the sound Monitor. When using the dual-way audio, please turn up the volume of the camera and the smartphone. 2. Confirm that the APP has permission to access the microphone.(above all, Please make sure your phone isn't on silent mode) If you are still not able to use the dual-way audio after these steps, please reboot or reset the camera and restart it again. 3. The two-way audio does not support speaking on headset and hearing sound simultaneously. 4.4 Why does it still show 0MB even after I have inserted an SD card into the camera? 1. Confirm that the MicroSD card is fully inserted into the camera. 2. Please insert the MicroSD card after the camera is powered off.

4.5 Is it necessary to insert the SD card if I want to use alert email function? No, the alert email can work normally even without the MicroSD card. 4.6 Why is the camera always displaying a black and white video image regardless of whether it is day or night? Reason: You must turn the infrared LED on or adjust the camera s saturation, brightness and sharpness manually on the Web. Solution 1: Reset the camera and reconnect it. Solution 2: Login in to the Web, find Setting--Image-Default, and click Default. 4.7 I can view the camera at home but not on my mobile network when I am outside. What should I do? 1. Download the latest App. 2. Confirm that the smartphone network is working normally. 3. Confirm that the camera is connected to the Internet. 4. Check the phone setting interface and confirm that the TENVISTY APP has the permission to access the Wi-Fi and mobile data. 5. Unplug and plug the camera. 4.10 What should do if I forget the camera s password? For indoor IP camera: Please power the camera on and press the reset button for about 10 seconds to restore it to the factory settings. Please connect the camera to Internet via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi after having restarted it. The default password of the IP camera is "admin". For outdoor IP camera: Please power the camera on and press the reset button on the camera cable for at least 10 seconds to restore it to the factory settings. The default password for the IP camera is admin. 4.11Whythe Pan & Tilt function lags when I am using my mobile network? The limitations of the mobile network and the camera network lead to slow data transmission. Please change the image quality from HD to SD (for App operation) when using the mobile network.

4.12 I am still unable to record video after having inserted the Micro SD card successfully. How do I solve this? Reason: 1. The SD card is not supported by the camera. The camera only supports FAT 32 format Micro SD cards. 2. The camera's time has changed after having recorded the remote video. Solution: 1. Format the SD card via the APP. 2. Set the camera's time again. 4.13 How to correct time in App? Please choose the correct time zone on the APP and click "Setting Time". The camera would restart after the setting is done. The time would run correctly hereafter. 4.14 How to upload a video recording via FTP? 1. Check whether you have inserted the Micro SD card into the camera. The FTP video upload requires the Micro SD card for caching. 2. Click Setting -- Event setting -- SensitivitySetting, turn on SensitivitySetting. 3. Click Setting -- Event setting -- Save Video to FTP Server, turn on Save Video to FTP Server. 4. Finish the settings about FTP and test it. Attention:Thedurationofthealertvideoisabout15s. 4.15How to use the email alert function? After adding camera in TENVISTY App, please follow belowing steps to set email alert: 1. Click Setting-- Event setting -- SensitivitySetting, turn on SensitivitySetting. 2. Click Setting--Event setting-- Email Alert, turn on Email Alert. 3. Enter the right email address and test to see if it sends the alert successfully. 4. Enable the SMTP for your email account. Attention: If you are using Gmail to receive the alert email, please set a different login authorization for Gmail.

4.16 How to save alert video in the Micro SD card? After adding the camera in TENVISTY App, please do as following steps: 1. Confirm Micro SD card is inserted into the camera correctly. 2. Click Setting -- Event setting -- SensitivitySetting, turn on SensitivitySetting. 3. Click Setting --Event setting--sd-card Recording, turn on SD- Card Recording. Note: The duration of the alert video is about 15s. The Alert Video function is turned off by default. 4.17Why there is no camera on LAN? Please check if your camera and phone are in the same LAN (Local Area Network). 4.18 How can I receive the alert push in my smartphone? Please follow the steps below after adding the camera in the TENVISTY App: 1. Click Setting -- Event setting -- SensitivitySetting, turn on SensitivitySetting. 2. Click Setting -- Event setting -- Alarm Push, turn on Alarm Push. 3. Check the phone settings and ensure that the App has the permission to push notification Attention: 1. If you are using the TENVISTY App for the first time, the App will ask users whether they wish to turn the push notification on after the installation. 2. APP pushes notifications once every minute. 4.19 Is the video saved to the SD card if the camera is disconnected? If you have already enabled the Alarm Video and Real-time Video functions before the camera is disconnected, the video will to be saved automatically and continuously to the SD card. 4.20 What if the camera password is wrong or forgotten? Charge the camera, and use a pin to keep pressing the reset button and hold it for approximately 10 seconds until the camera is restarted. The camera default password is "admin." Attention: If the reset is successful, the camera will make a sound like Ding-Dong.

5.Default Parameters IP address: Dynamic Allocation, the initial address is 192.168.1.88. IP will be allocated automatically by router when camera is connected to net.
