Introduction Quality Council of India (QCI): The Quality Council of India (QCI) is a pioneering experiment of the Government of India in setting up organizations in partnership with the Indian industry. QCI is to lead nationwide quality movement in India by involving all stakeholders for emphasis on adherence to quality standards in all spheres of activities primarily for promoting and protecting interests of the nation and its citizens. To achieve this, QCI is playing a pivotal role in propagating, adoption and adherence to quality standards in all important spheres of activities including education, healthcare, environment protection, governance, social sectors, infrastructure sector and such other areas of organized activities that have significant bearing in improving the quality of life and well-being of the citizens of India. Objective and Scope of Work: In order to provide proper backup for the currently running servers in the various premises, Quality Council of India intends to procure data backup devices and softwares to simplify data and recovery plan. Data Backup software installation and configuration is required at the all office locations of QCI to enable data transfer from local servers to cloud storage. The application must be easy to deploy both for file-level and image-based backups, centralized console, and cloud setup. It must feature flexible interface and tools either for personal use, as a corporate data backup or an enterprise disaster recovery plan. It must connect directly to a wide range of cloud storage platforms, giving a flexible turnkey backup system to build their business on. Easy configuration Other Specifications: AWS (Amazon S3) cloud storage space 15 TB required Data backup agent service and software update support after installation. The solution is required to be implemented at 4-5 different office locations of QCI and its constituent bodies. The service provider must be capable of providing operational training to in-house IT team on implementation of the solution. The service provider must guarantee 24*7 customer support. Other Terms and Conditions: 1. The applicant should be technically qualified and well experienced in providing such services. 2. The applicant must be an authorized dealer of the requisite tailor-made softwares (if any). 3. The applicant must be a legal entity registered anywhere in India. 4. The applicant must be registered in India with appropriate tax and other administrative authorities. 5. The applicant must not sub-contract the work to other providers. 6. The softwares must be capable enough to handle large volumes by delivering range of features and capabilities to ensure that the applicant is able to deliver services as per our SLA and maintain strict TAT. 7. Last date of receipt of sealed applications is May 22, 2018, Tuesday, up to 5 P.M. No application shall be entertained after the expiry of the due date and time. Rejection of Application: The application is liable to be rejected if: a) Not in prescribed forms and not containing all required details. b) Not properly sealed and signed as per requirements. c) Received after the expiry of due date and time. d) Missing of any supporting document(s) with the Proposal.
