Definition of terms In order to avoid confusion with the setpoint topology of SINAMICS regarding CMC, the term setpoint topology will only be used as from CMC 4.6 when referring to the setpoint topology of SINAMICS. In the future, the term default topology shall replace the existing term setpoint topology regarding CMC issues. Default topology: A SINAMICS Offline Topology package (SOT) allows to load a CMC package with a configured default topology in SINAMICS with the aim to activate it as a setpoint topology. Comparative topology: Within a CMC package, a configured comparative topology can be compared with the setpoint topology of SINAMICS and an error evaluation can be performed. Setpoint topology: When uploading a DRV online archive or an offline archive, you can display the setpoint topology of SINAMICS in CMC-Topo for diagnosing and, if required, further process this for a comparative or default topology. 2013-09-01 Page 4/50
