WiFi connec7on (light fixture) 1. Before the STYLE is connected to your WiFi, the panel will show a sta7c green light on the power indicator and a blinking blue light on the WiFi indicator. 2. Sequen7ally press "1-1- 2-2- 3" on the panel, each buron should make a beeping sound when pressed. The panel will show three blinking lights on M1 to M3 indicators. The STYLE is now ready to receive your WiFi password in the Style app on your mobile device. 2
Welcome page (mobile device) Now, make sure your phone is connected to your personal WiFi network The first 7me you set up a STYLE, the mobile device will show this welcome page and NOT automa7cally log you into the app, so please touch the screen to enter into the seungs page. imos STYLE app can be downloaded from Apple Store and Google Play by searching imos STYLE. 3
WiFi connec7on AZer entering into the app, please select WiFi tab in the upper right corner for WiFi connec7on. 4
WiFi connec7on (mobile device) When entering into the WiFi page make sure your mobile device is already connected to your WiFi network. Enter your WiFi password. Press Send, you should hear the unit beep and the lights turn off and back on within around 10-15 seconds. ****** 5
WiFi connec7on (light fixture) Once you hear the beeping sound and the lights have turned off and back on you can now close the app down completely and restart it again to refresh the connec7on status. * DO NOT JUST PRESS THE PHONE S HOME BUTTON, ACTUALLY CLOSE DOWN THE APP COMPLETELY * When the STYLE restarts itself again, the WiFi indicator will temporarily show a blinking blue light and then change to a sta7c blue light when the STYLE is connected properly to the router, this may take 10 to 30 seconds 6
WiFi connec7on (mul7ple units) When you have more than one STYLE unit, you need to connect mul7ple units by following the procedures below: 1. Choose one of the STYLE units to be the primary master unit. This primary master unit has to be connected to the router directly. Make sure you have successfully completed the instruc7ons on page 2 to page 6. 2. Now on the master unit sequen7ally press 3-3- 2-2- 1 on the panel of the master unit to ac7vate the broadcas7ng of the connec7on informa7on to nearby slave units. The indicators M1 to M3 will be blinking green once done correctly. 3. Choose one of the STYLE units as a slave unit, and sequen7ally press 3-3- 2-2- 2 to receive the connec7on informa7on from the master unit. 4. The slave unit will beep and automa7cally turn off and on again when it receives the connec7on informa7on and connects to the master unit. The WiFi indicator will then appear sta7c blue light. * NOTE: If the slave unit doesn t beep and turn off and on almost instantly please unplug the slave unit and try again un7l it happens instantly. 5. Choose another STYLE unit as a slave unit and repeat Step. 3and 4 to connect it to the master unit. 6. When all the slave units are connected to the master unit, make sure to unplug the power cord of the master unit and wait 5 seconds to plug it in again. Open the app when the master unit is connected to router (WiFi indicator appears sta7c blue light). Note 1. One master unit can connect up to three slave units. Each slave unit can become a secondary master unit to connect to another three slave units. The connec7on method is the same as Step. 2 to 4. Note 2. The whole communica7on system is like a branching structure. The primary master unit connected directly to the router is responsible to pass the signals and commands from the mobile device to all other slave units. Note 3. When replacing a new router, the connec7on between the slave unit to its master unit s7ll exists. The only thing you need to do is to rebuild the connec7on between the primary master unit to the new router. As long as the mobile device 7 connects to the new router via WiFi as well, you can simply program and control all units as usual.
Welcome page If you see a sta7c blue light on the Style control panel you may now re enter the app again. * Make sure not to touch the screen to enter into the seungs page this 7me or you may cause the Style not to fully connect to your router. * When the WiFi setup on the previous pages is complete, the mobile device will show the welcome page when you open the app. During this quick 7me, the system will load the connec7on status between the mobile device, light fixture(s), and router while this page is loading and then automa7cally enter into the seungs page. When the Style and router fully connect, the app will automa7cally enter into Instant show page. 8
Instant show Choose light fixture (all units or individual units) Choose LED cluster (single or mul7ple) The icon of the LED cluster shows green when it is selected. The light color and intensity of the cluster(s) can be edited by sliding the bars representa7ve of three channels. To preserve the seung values of certain cluster(s) while edi7ng the other cluster(s), simply uncheck the cluster(s) before you select the other cluster(s). Channel programming Each LED cluster is composed of three channels which represent different colors or spectra. Each channel can be fine tuned from 0% to 100% to define its intensity. The light fixture will respond simutaneously when sliding the bar(s). 9
Load Save Display Update Call Light seung In Light seung page, there are several func7onal burons and two subpages for detailed seungs: Call: Press to call the light (in the middle of screen). The light will blink to respond to your call. Program seung Effect seung Program seung: Under this subpage, you can press the cluster(s) to change the program number. Hold the cluster icon to enter into program seung page. Effect seung: Under this subpage, you can program shizing cloud and lightning effects. Save: Press to save the light seungs to your mobile device. Load: Press to load the seungs previously saved in the mobile device. Update: Press to send the seungs from the mobile device to all the light fixtures connected. Display: Press to view your current 24 hour ligh7ng cycle in a quick 30 second preview 10
Light seung (name the fixture) Holding the fixture icon shown in the middle of screen allows you to name the fixture. MASTER MASTER 11
Light seung (save and load) Press save or load burons to enter into the pages below: On this page, your program will be saved to the mobile device under the fixture name. Users can also save another file name by entering a different name. To delete the file, press the cross icon on the right. On this page, the files previously saved in the mobile device can be found in the list. Users can choose the file and press Load to apply the seungs to view. Light seung (shizing clouds) Press the buron to enter into this page. (1) Define moving direc7on There are four moving direc7ons. Press one of the arrows to define the moving direc7on. Press the cloud icon on the lez to instantly check the effect prior to saving. 1 2 3 (2) Define sequence When there are mul7ple units, you can define the sequence of each unit for execu7ng the shizing cloud effect. You can choose a number for the unit shown in the middle and let the units run the effect one azer the other according to the sequence you assign. You can also assign the same sequence number to mul7ple units to make them a group so these units with the same sequence number will run the effect at the same 7me. When the seungs are done and saved, make sure to press Update buron on the upper right corner to apply the seungs to the light fixture(s). 13
Light seung (lightning) Press the buron to enter into this page. Define the frequency Lightning can appear randomly within the day. You can decide the frequency by sliding to Low, Med, and High or simply choose None to stop execu7ng this effect within the program. When the op7on is decided, press Update buron on the upper right corner to apply the seung to the light fixture. 14
Program seung Load Start Save In the Program seung page, there are several func7onal burons and two subpages for detailed seungs: Display Program number: Press to change the number of the program you want to edit. There are totally 6 programs (P1 to P6) for your customizing. Program number Auto scheduling Time seung: Under this subpage, you can edit the 7me as well as the light changing model of the 7me ball selected. Slow phase or instant change from 7me ball to 7me ball Channel seung: Under this subpage, you can edit the intensity of each channel. Time seung Channel seung Auto scheduling: Press to automa7cally arrange the sequence of the 7me balls according to the 7me assigned to each ball. Save: Press to save the light seungs to your mobile device. Load: Press to load the seungs previously saved in the mobile device. Display: Press to check the light program you ve chosen in a quick 30 second preview 15
Program seung (7me seung) A 7me ball will enlarge when pressed. Press Time SeUng buron to enter into this sec7on once a ball has been selected (1) Define 7me Each 7me ball is mainly composed of three func7onal seungs: (1) 7me, (2) ramp up or down, (3) channel intensity. Under this subpage, you can first define the 7me to execute the seungs of the ball selected and it s speed in ramp up or down. Hr. Min. Sec. Light changing model (2) Define light changing model AZer defining the 7me, you can press the buron on the right of Sec. to change the light phasing style. When it shows, this means the light will change seamlessly to the spectrum of the next 7me ball. When it shows, it means the light will change abruptly to the spectrum of the next 7me ball. Think of these as a slow natural dimming compared to a more immediate dimming cycle. 16
Program seung (channel seung) A 7me ball will enlarge when pressed. Press Spectrum SeUng buron to enter into this sec7on once a ball has been selected Define channel intensity Each 7me ball can have its own ligh7ng spectrum and brightness. A ligh7ng status is composed of lights from three channels. In each channel bar, the intensity can be edited from 0% to 100% by sliding the balls A, B and C to certain posi7ons. The light fixture responds simutaneously when you slide the balls. This allows you to know exactly what the light looks like under that seung value(s). A program is always composed of 12 7me balls. You need to thoroughly edit 12 7me balls to complete the whole program seung. When the seungs are completed, press buron to save the seungs to the mobile device and then press buron in Light seung page to update the seungs to the light fixture(s). 17
