Puma Energy elearning Hub How To Guide for Staff Includes FAQs and Troubleshooting Guide

How To Guide for Staff Welcome to the elearning Hub. This How To Guide will highlight the steps you need to take to make sure that the course will work on your computer as well as show you how to complete the course, download your Certificate. If you require assistance with the course please contact ACAPMA by email to training@acapma.com.au To get started you will need A computer with internet access, speakers or earphones. The system may not work well on ipads but will work on any other computer, desktop, tablet, laptop etc Your Login and Password your manager will give you this information 1. Check Your System Get on the Internet - using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox In the address bar type pumaenergy.ecampus.com.au The system requires several things to be active on your computer or it will not function properly. The System Checker on the landing page is there to look for the things the system needs and to let you know if anything is missing If there is a red cross next to Cookies, Flash or Popups the system will not work properly. This may result in you being unable to complete the training or the system not recording your answers. DO NOT LOGIN UNTIL YOU HAVE GREEN TICKS FOR COOKIES, FLASH AND POPUPS!!!!!!!!!!! If there are red Xs on the System Checker in these critical areas please use the Troubleshooting Guide at the end of this document to address the issues. 2. Login to the Hub Enter the Login and Password details provided to you by your supervisor Click the Login button

3. Do the Training Click the Module Title (black words white background) next to the % completed section Click on the Start Unit button Use the Previous and Back buttons to navigate the course. When you reach an assessment point follow the instructions At the end of the Module click the Exit Course button then close the pop up Repeat for all modules until all are at 100%

4. Certificate On the My Courses page click the Cap icon next to the tick to show the PDF of the Certificate of Completion. Save and email or print this for your records and for your manager sign and date and provide to the site manager

Frequently Asked Questions for Staff Q: Do I have to do the training? A: Yes. When directed by your manager training in safety and compliance is required under the law. Q: How long does the course take? A: Each module takes approximately 30 minutes. Q: Do I have to do it all at once? A: No. The system will remember where you were up to and ask you if you would like to continue or restart once you log back in. Q: Is there a test? What if I fail? What if I get a question wrong? A: Each module includes an interactive quiz. You must score 100% to pass the quiz, but you get 3 goes at getting the right answer on most questions. If you do fail you can either redo the course or email training@acapma.com.au and a trainer will be in contact to arrange a convenient time to talk to you about the content in the quiz and once satisfied that you understand the material, they will mark you as passed on the system. Q: My Settings Checker is showing X s. Is that bad? A: Yes. The Hub needs Cookies, Flash and Popups to be showing as green ticks in order for the courses to work properly and for the results to be recorded. If any of these are showing as red crosses DO NOT PROCEED, instead follow the steps in the Troubleshooting Guide below and if you run into trouble or need assistance please email training@acapma.com.au Q: I am clicking the course but nothing is happening? A: Ensure that you are clicking the module title as shown above at step 3 which is next to the % bar and is black letters on a white background (not the course title which is black letters on the blue background). If you are clicking on the module title and nothing is happening this is likely an issue with the Popup Blocker please see below for steps to allow Popups. Q: I have the course running but there is no picture only sound? A: This is an indication of an issue with the Flash Player activation please see below for steps to activate Flash. Q: How do I get my Certificate? A: You can download your certificate by clicking on the cap and scroll icon that will appear next to the course title on the my courses page after you have completed the course. Q: Will ACAPMA tell me when I need to do the course again? A: No. ACAPMA provides access to a variety of training courses across the industry, however each person and business may access these courses differently and refresher intervals change from business to business, so ACAPMA will not remind you to do the training again. You should speak to your supervisor about when/if you need to undertake the training again. Q: I need an old Certificate but I cant see it is it still there? A: Yes. As courses are replaced they are archived, along with the certificates that were issued. If you need your old certificates for any reason please email training@acapma.com.au to request a copy of your old certificate. Q: I'm having technical issues with the courses. Who do I go to for help? A: The courses are provided by the industry association ACAPMA email training@acapma.com.au for help with the courses.
