1 Frequently asked questions on how to join the webinar For ease of use, we recommend all participants use Google Chrome when joining the webinar. Mobile and tablet users are encouraged to download the Adobe Connect application for their device prior to joining the webinar. Questions and Answers 1. How do I join the webinar? The webinar is free to join, simply enter and submit your details using the form available at You will now see a new form requesting your first and last name, this information will be used to identify you during the webinar Question and Answer session. 2. I filled out my information online but I am still unable to join the webinar. If your browser does not have the Adobe Connect add-in already installed, you will be prompted to download the Adobe Connect add-in. To join the webinar, simply download the add-in and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

2 Followed by this screen where the download button is found: Be sure to have Adobe Flash Player installed and enabled on your browser to view webinar content. If you do not have Adobe Flash Player, you can download the latest update here: The Adobe Connect installer will now be downloaded to your computer. Be sure to follow the instructions outlined by opening the installer and running the executable file to ensure the application has been downloaded to your computer. When running the installer, you will be prompted with the following screen where the install will take place:

3 Once the installation process is complete, the window will now provide you with options to save a shortcut for the application to your Start Menu and Desktop (for Windows users). Select your preference and click the Exit button to proceed. Return to your browser window and select the button to Launch Adobe Connect as illustrated below: You will now see a new browser window open with the Adobe Connect platform loading the webinar. This is the final step to join the webinar:

4 3. I ve downloaded the Adobe Connect add-in and Adobe Flash Player, but I am still unable to join the webinar: Disable your browser pop-up blocker. Once you have disabled your pop-up blocker you can now submit your information once more to join the webinar in progress. For information on how to disable pop-up blockers and a list of supported browsers, please see detailed instructions outlined below. For Chrome users: Step 4: Step 5: Step 6: Open Chrome settings Select Privacy Select Content settings Select Pop-ups Press the button to allow pop-ups Click Done to save changes For Internet Explorer users: Step 4: Step 5: Open Settings Select Internet Options Select Privacy Uncheck Pop-up Blocker Click Apply

5 For FireFox users: Open Options menu Select Content Disable Pop-up Blocker by unchecking the box For Safari users: Step 4: Step 5: Open Safari browser Select Safari from the browser menu Select Preferences Select the Security tab Select Web content, uncheck Block pop-up windows 4. My browser indicates that it has blocked the pop-up, how do I proceed to join the webinar? Depending on the browser you are using a pop-up window will appear on your browser to inform you that the browser has blocked the pop-up associated with the webinar. Simply click on the option to Allow the pop-up to proceed to the webinar. 5. I can view the webinar content but I don t hear the audio. To listen in to the live webinar simply enable the audio on the device you are using by increasing the audio volume. 6. Can I view the webinar from a mobile or tablet device? Yes, you can view the webinar using any mobile or tablet device. Simply download the Adobe Connect application for your mobile or tablet device and enter your information at to proceed.

6 7. I ve downloaded Adobe Connect on my mobile device but I am receiving an error message indicating that the website is attempting to open a pop-up window. What should I do? All mobile and tablet users are encouraged to download the Adobe Connect application prior to joining the webinar.
