How do I access Zinio? Free access is available from library.huttcity.govt.nz Under Quick Links on the home page open emagazines (Zinio) You can also access Zinio at www.rbdigital.com/huttcity/zinio Do I need an account? You need to create an account on Zinio At the top right of the Zinio homepage, click Create New Account On the next screen enter your Library Card Number Click Next Enter: your first and last names email address a password (7 characters with letters and numbers) Click Create Account 2 of 7
How do I find magazines? You can browse magazines by broad topics Click the down arrow beside All Genres Click a topic to display magazines If you know the magazine you want you can type the title into the search box How do I open a magazine? Click on the magazine cover You will see details about the magazine Click the Checkout button to access the latest issue Click Show more back issues to see additional issues 3 of 7

How do I read a magazine in my Web Browser? Can I Read Magazines On My Mobile Device? Apps are available to allow you read magazines on your Android devices, ipad, iphone, or Kindle HD/HDX. The Apps are for reading only. You still need to issue magazines from the Zinio website. Install and open the Zinio for Libraries app from the relevant app store. In the Zinio for Libraries app Click Log In Enter the email address you used for your Zinio Account Click Next Select Hutt City Libraries Click Done Enter the password you used for your Zinio Account Click Log In Your magazine collection will display under the cover image means the magazine is not downloaded Tap a magazine cover to download it While a magazine is downloading progress is displayed at the top of the page 6 of 7

You can stream magazines to your computer via the HTML5 instant reader (see required browsers). You can also read them offline on your mobile device. It must be downloaded to your device and read using the Zinio for Libraries app. Am I able to access my Zinio account on more than one computer or mobile device? Yes, you can use multiple desktop or mobile devices with your Zinio username and password. Why do I need to give the name of my library and my Library Card Number when I create a Zinio account? Your Library Account Number proves you are a member of Hutt City Libraries and gives you free access to Zinio. How many magazines can I check out at one time? You can check out as many magazines as you want there is no limit. All checked out magazines are displayed in My Collection after you have logged in. How long can I have magazines for? There is no time limit. Once you check out a magazine, It remains in your account until you delete it. How do I remove a magazine from my device?
