Word 2013 Purpose of Today This is an introductory course for the use of Word 2013 that will guide you through the Word 2013 interface and increase your understanding of the follow items: Document creation, editing, and saving Formatting text, lists and paragraphs Working with tables, columns, and other formatting features Working with headers and footers Word 2013 Learning Outcomes By the end of this presentation, you should be able to: Describe the Office 2013 ribbon and menu interface Describe how to edit, move, copy, find, and replace text Identify steps and options for formatting text Describe page layout and printing options in Microsoft Word List ways to utilize charts and tables within Microsoft Word Identify the Help options in Office 2013 Identify top reasons it is important for hospital leaders to efficiently use these programs in the healthcare environment Identify other audiences that need to know this information and need to collaborate in this area Identify action items to take in response to this training 2
