MBNL UAD CITRIX FTP Solution

Introduction Serv-U Managed File Transfer (MFT) Server is a secure FTP server software that provides comprehensive security, automation, and centralized control for file transfers across MBNL users and stakeholder user groups. This solution can be used for sharing files within MBNL/Stakeholders or with your external business partners. This file management solution will be available for all user groups as a default service in MBNL Active Directory. Based on the user authorization permission they can manage and share files between tools and tools or between user to user. These users will be able to access this solution directly from internet or through the internal networks (ex: CAG for Ericsson). In summary this solution can be used for file transfer from local devices to the MBNL Network. NOTE: There is a separate process for single/multiple file download/upload

Initial Setup Prerequisite: User account must be activated Steps 1. Access Serv U MFT, using the link below and insert your Citrix UAD credentials https://drive.mbnl.net/ The MBNL Serv U MFT credential window appears.

Initial Setup 2. Choose the application based on your requirement: Web client is used for the uploading, downloading of files and folders over the internet, for example, downloading reports from IPCM or uploading config files to NEMs systems. The file sharing tool allows file sharing between users with or without a (external e.g.- vendors) Serv-U account.

Initial Setup 2. On your first login please, setup your drive using steps 4 > step 8 3. Select Web client and Click OK, Continue. 4. Click upload in the resulting screen

Initial Setup 6. Browse and select any file from your local system.

Initial Setup 7. Click Upload. This will establish a link between laptop local hard drive and drive.mbnl.net. 8. Once this is done, you will see the below and you are now ready to upload and download files.

Downloading and Uploading single files to Citrix UAD from Web Client Downloading a single file from Citrix UAD on to the Web Client. 1. Access Citrix UAD: https://access.mbnl.net/ 2. Log in with your MBNL Citrix UAD user name and password 3. Open an application from where you would like to upload or save the file on Serv-U. NOTE: If you wish to download multiple files, please see the section on downloading multiple files

Downloading and Uploading single files to Citrix UAD from Web Client 4. Click Save as... In the Save As window, you will now see the FTP link available, select FTP.

Downloading and Uploading single files to Citrix UAD from Web Client 7. Login into the Web Client or refresh if already logged in to web client; https://drive.mbnl.net 8. You will now see the file saved in the Serv-U client. 9. Click on the download action or double-click on the file if you want to download it to your local system.

Downloading and Uploading multiple files to Citrix UAD from Web Client There is a sperate process required for multiple file download: 1. You must have a valid UAD account 2. Prerequisite software must be installed/available on local machine 3. One time setup of FTP voyager Prerequisite/Support The following major browsers are supported with the basic web client, for file management and for web administration purposes: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0+ Mozilla Firefox: latest two versions Safari 5 and 7 Google Chrome: latest version Mobile browser Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 and 8 are supported for Web Client Pro and FTP Voyager JV. Notes: To be able to use Web Client Pro and FTP Voyager JV, Java must be installed and enabled in the browser. Web Client Pro does not work on Linux in Google Chrome version later than 35 due to an incompatibility between Chrome and the Java browser plug-in. Apple users must have at least Mac OS X 10.6 installed.

Downloading and Uploading multiple files to Citrix UAD from Web Client 4. In the next screen select Option 1 to download latest version of Java or Option 2 if you already have Java installed or you have just installed Java using Option 1

Downloading and Uploading multiple files to Citrix UAD from Web Client 5. The Restart FTP Voyager JV will then give you the below page which will also download a Java launch file which will be saved on your local PC. 6. Select Open once the file has downloaded

ServU File Sharing File sharing lets you send or receive files from guests. To access file sharing either choose the File sharing option during login or use the Jump to option on the top right corner in the web interface to navigate between Web Client and File sharing.

ServU File Sharing Features On the File Sharing web console, you can do several activities: Perform search, view, manage, and edit all incoming and outgoing file sharing requests. The dashboard is where all file sharing requests are initiated. Search for file shares or files among existing sent, requested, or both sent and requested shares using the search field. Notification once the guest downloads the file from the link sent through mail.

ServU File Sharing Receive Files as Guest User Receive a file from someone by sending a link to a page, where the other party can easily upload to it the link that is sent to them.

ServU File Sharing Send Files as Guest User Send a file internally within your organization typically in the same network, outside of your organization and outside of your network using a link in an email.

ServU File Sharing Guest would receive email with URL to download the file which is shared through Serv-U.

ServU File Sharing Once the guest successfully downloads the file, a notification would be sent to the user who has shared the files.
