3 What Internet Browsers are compatible with SchoolSpace? SchoolSpace is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher PC only) or Mozilla Firefox (version 3 or higher Mac or PC). What Internet Browsers are not compatible with SchoolSpace? There are many different types of Internet Browsers. Often your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will install an Internet Browser on your computer. Many computers may come with a factory installed Internet Browser (such as Safari on Macs). Some of the Internet Browsers available that are not compatible include Safari, Opera, Google Chrome, Comcast, or AOL Explorer. How do I know what Operating System I have? o Right click on the hard drive. o Select Properties. o The operating system will appear on the General tab. o Go to the Apple and drag to About this Mac. o The pop up window will show you what operating system you have. How do I know what version of the browser I have? IE (PC only) o Open IE. o Go to the Help menu and select About Internet Explorer. o The version will appear on the pop up window. If you don t have the correct version of IE, you can download it at the following URL: Firefox (Mac) o Go to Firefox on the menu bar and drag to About Mozilla Firefox. o The pop up window will tell you what version you have.
