Doc No.:13 (13360) IS 4757-7 : 2019 ISO 3547-7 : 2007 Bearings Sectional Committee, PGD 13 NATIONAL FOREWORD This Indian Standard (Part 7) (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO 3547-7 : 2007 Plain bearings Wrapped bushes Part 7: Measurement of wall thickness of thin-walled bushes issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Bearing Sectional Committee, PGD 13 and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council. This standard was originally published in 1968 and subsequently revised in 1980. First revision was based on ISO 3547 : 1976 Plain, bearing Wrapped bush Dimensions, tolerances and methods of checking, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 3547 (all parts). Other parts in this series are: Part 1 Dimensions Part 2 Test data for outside and inside diameters Part 3 Lubrication holes, grooves and indentations Part 4 Materials Part 5 Checking the outside diameter Part 6 Checking the inside diameter The text of ISO Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following: a) Wherever the words International Standard appear referring to this standard, they should be read as Indian Standard. b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker. The number of significant places retained in the rounded off value should be the same as that of the specified value in this standard.
