Overview System Requirements The wiadvisor Dashboard will provide a portable method to support the interaction between Service Advisors and customers in the service write-up area. The program integrates many Chrysler systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and other service write-up resources into a single web-based user-interface displayed on a tablet. The tables below outline the recommended hardware and software for wiadvisor. The wiadvisor Support Team will only support the wiadvisor Dashboard application operating on the listed tablets with the operating system and browsers listed below. Dealers are responsible for any consequences on tablets purchased outside of the recommendations. The recommendations will evolve over time. Recommended Tablets: Model HD OS / Browser Data Plan Apple ipad with Retina Display (4th Generation) WiFi Model Apple ipad (3rd Generation) WiFi Model 32 GB ios 6 or later / Safari Not required 32 GB ios 6 or later / Safari Not required The ipad should not be viewed as a tool that replaces desktop computers, but rather as an enhancement to them. Dealers who want a tablet that offers direct access to their DMS should consider a tablet model which would then replace their desktops or laptops in their service write up area. wiadvisor Application Support Information The wiadvisor Dashboard application can be accessed from DealerCONNECT. Known wiadvisor Application Limitations Change Description Internet Explorer (IE 9) User Interface Compatibility Concerns Navigating away from a view page within 5 seconds of changing a value on that page may cause changes to be lost Cannot process vehicles classified as dealer inventory without customer name Technician hard copy time received incorrect shows Central Standard Time (Dealertrack) If customer record does not exist in DMS; an appointment will be pushed as unconfirmed web appointment (Reynolds & Reynolds) Cannot update dealership employee records through wiadvisor interface as part of RO push (Reynolds & Reynolds) Clearing Cache on Google Chrome Chrysler Group LLC is committed to continuously improving wiadvisor. If your dealership utilizes Google Chrome as its Internet Browser for wiadvisor, you may need to Clear your Cache after a new wiadvisor release is launched. We recommend that you Clear your Cache after every release to ensure you take advantage of new features and improvements. To Clear your Cache, please follow the instructions below: 1.
