DOWNLOADING THE WEALTH PASSPORT APP iphone Download 1. Open the Apple App Store app on your iphone 2. Search for Wealth Passport or Northern Trust 3. Select and install application in the list named Wealth Passport Mobile, the icon and screens should look like this: Northern Trust 2
LOGIN OVERVIEW Login First Time Login The first time you log in to the Wealth Passport Mobile App you will need your Wealth Passport User ID, Password and pin + token. After correctly entering the required information on a mobile device that supports touch ID, you will see a prompt to Enable Touch ID. If you would like to sign in only using your fingerprint going forward, you can select Enable Touch ID. Subsequent Logins with Touch ID Enabled If Touch ID is enabled, you will no longer need to log in with your User ID, Password and pin + token. When the app is launched you will receive a prompt for Touch ID authentication. If the app was not launched (app login screen in the background), you can select Touch ID, next to Forgot Password, to log in using your fingerprint. Token Expiration If Touch ID is enabled, you may continue to login to the mobile app without a token, even when passwords expire and need to be reset. However, be mindful that tokens become disabled after 90 days of inactivity, and will need to be enabled by the Help Center. 3

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS OVERVIEW Push Notifications Push notifications are notifications that you can subscribe to within the Wealth Passport App. They deliver important account information directly to your mobile device, even when you are not actively using the app. The preferences can be managed from the Wealth Passport mobile application without logging in to the Wealth Passport desktop application. Push notifications can be set up on one or more iphones, as required by the user. The alert subscription on a device is specific to that device and does not affect the subscription on other devices or email subscriptions in the desktop application. Enabling Push Notifications Push notifications can be enabled on any iphone where you use the Wealth Passport App. If you selected Allow in the push notifications alert when starting the app, notifications will be turned on automatically after logging in to the application If you want to enable or disable push notifications manually: sign in to the application, select Settings from the main menu, choose Notifications, and press the switch to turn notifications on or off. 5
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS OVERVIEW Money Movement Transactions pending the user s approval are eligible for push notifications. Push Notifications Available Single Transaction Pending Approval you will be notified when the transaction is submitted. In the event you have uploaded multiple transactions, you will still receive only one notification. Tips Regarding the Notifications If the user taps on the notification when they are not signed in to the Wealth Passport App, they will be directed to the sign in screen and required to log in. After login, the user will be taken directly to the detail page of that specific transaction that is pending approval. After the user taps on the notification, it will be removed from the notification tray, and the user will not see it again. Notifications are not saved in the app. If the user is actively using the app when a notification is triggered, the user will not receive the notification. Notifications will be delivered when the app is not open, and when it is open and running in the background. 6

PENDING APPROVAL TRANSACTION LIST/TRANSACTION DETAILS Pending Approval Transaction List After successful login, the Pending Approval Transaction List will display. Transactions are sorted by Approval Required By Date, and contain To Account, From Account and Transaction Amount information. Symbols are displayed for: Attachment(s), Recurring Transaction and Protected Profile. Transaction Details Selecting a transaction will move the user to the Transaction Details screen. Users are able to scroll down to view all the transaction details, open attachments if applicable, and ultimately approve or reject the transaction. 8
