2009 Associate Level Exam Solution Great solution for Secondary schools and for students Easy to deliver does not require the Autodesk application. Shorter testing time 1 hour. Covers wide variety of objectives, but is less intense. Affordable $25 per test. Schools can use to fulfill assessment needs, and offer Professional level as option. Allows student to gain entry level certification and complete in post secondary or professional life. Allows students to connect with Autodesk for continuous learning. Exam Delivery Autodesk Online Testing System Autodesk Online hosted by Internet Testing Systems. Available 24/7 via the web. Certification exams require proctor. Allows for quick purchase and delivery (with credit card). No fee for schools to join. Testing components are downloaded from the testing system. How Schools Purchase Exams With purchase order to Autodesk Schools receive instructions and sku list for all exam products. Tests are added directly to their testing account for delivery. By credit card in the testing system Schools have access to a shopping cart for all exams with Academic pricing. Allows to immediate addition to their testing account for last minute delivery. 12
How Schools Purchase Courseware Schools should purchase through their Education Reseller Individual and Digital Site License pricing available. Site license applies at the District level. Requires signed agreement. Reseller can purchase Digital Site License from Autodesk Learning, and resell to District. For more information on Digital Site License email certification@autodesk.com. 13
Student Testing Details Students are prompted before testing to fill out a profile form with demographic data. Create user name and password Allows access to score reports, e certificate, and logos 24/7 Before testing, students will show student ID. (post secondary only) Proctors will start the test and answer questions about the testing system. Students may take a tutorial to familiarize themselves with the testing system. This does not take time away from the test. Students can take a break, and re start their test. 14
Results Grading and Outcomes Results and status are listed on the score report students receive when they complete an examination. Feedback includes missed items with mapping to Courseware lessons. Schools/Centers can print and review results. Electronic Certificate When they pass, students gain access to an electronic certificate in PDF format. This e Certificate includes a unique serial number that authenticates the certificate as valid. Certificate and score report can be reprinted anywhere, anytime. Certification Center Requirements Certification Center must be an academic institution. Certification Center must accept the on line Testing Center Agreement. Certification Center must provide a proctor for all testing. Certification Center must have licensed software for each station to be used when the testing requires the software. Certification Center must meet minimum hardware/software requirements. Testing Site Administrator determines test session availability and location. Public testing for post secondary schools Private for secondary schools can offer to other secondary students in the area There is no fee to join or minimum test delivery requirement. 17
Certification Center Technical Requirements Application Software All Autodesk performance based certification exams require the Autodesk application for testing. Release specific Autodesk application (i.e. AutoCAD 2009) No AutoCAD LT in place of AutoCAD No bundled products (Cannot use the AutoCAD included in Mechanical Desktop) Application proficiency, assessment exams, and 2009 Associate level exams do not require do not require Autodesk applications.
