VIBRATION MONITORING NEAR FIELD ShtTrack Pty Ltd have develped a series f new vibratin mnitrs designed t address the needs f users wh require cst effective time synchrnized vibratin mnitring slutin. Psitin and timing is effected using a GPS receiver. Prviding there is a GPS fix the trigger events are time stamped t UTC time and date and a ne secnd marker (accurate t +/-50ns RMS) is recrded alng with the vibratin infrmatin. This embedded time signal is displayed n utput graphs and reprts. The last PPS Marker captured indicates the exact secnd recrded in the event data, s the precise timing can be measured (accurate t the sample rate chsen e.g. 16.625 micrsecnds at 64,000 s/s) The ptinal remte wireless charged units are designed especially fr the extreme high G vibratin mnitrs that will be sited temprarily and very clse t the blast. These units cme with their wn wireless charging dcking statin. Each unit has a sphisticated battery cnditin mnitr that prvides an accurate fuel gauge facility. These units can be pre-cnfigured fr sample rate, trigger level and recrd time at any pint prir t being deplyed and the On/Off buttn simply pressed t start the unit. The unit will wait fr a trigger event and recrd fr the duratin set, after the event is stred the unit waits fr the next trigger event. The data includes 1/4 secnd pre-trigger. The unit can be recnfigured using a smart phne, PDA r Laptp at any pint. UNIT CONTROL AND CONFIGURING Cntrl and dwnlading f data is achieved using a Bluetth prt and the supplied PC Sftware. CHARGING/REMOTE SUPPLY Standard ShtTrack ViB mnitrs use a 2.5mm plug and scket cmbinatin that prvides an IP rating f IP68/ NEMA 250 (6P) when mated. When the charger r external pwer is nt in use the unit has a cap that prvides IP68 prtectin. This cnnectr can be used t charge and supply external pwer fr the units. The IP68 rating allws the unit t be perated with external supply/charging in extremely harsh envirnments. All ShtTrack ViB mnitrs use a System Lad Sharing and Li-In/Li-Plymer Battery Charge scheme that allws fr the unit t be used with external supply ptins such as ShtTrack Slar Panel. The battery will charge when the supply current is sufficient t run the unit and has excess available fr charging. When the unit is in standby mde the batteries will charge at the fastest rate. OPTIONAL WIRELESS CHARGER The ShtTrack ViB charger incrprates a Texas Instruments bq500210 Wireless Pwer dedicated digital cntrller that integrates the lgic functins required t cntrl Wireless Pwer Transfer in a single channel WPC cmpliant cntactless charging base statin. The charger peridically checks fr a ShtTrack ViB unit t be inserted int the cradle, mnitrs all cmmunicatin frm the unit, and adjusts pwer applied t the transmitter cil per feedback received frm the unit. The charger checks t make sure that there are n freign metallic bjects placed int the cradle and prtects itself and the pwer receiver frm excessive pwer lss and heat assciated with parasitic metal bjects placed in the pwer transfer path. The cradle and ViB mnitr husings are keyed t psitin the charger in the crrect place fr maximum efficient pwer transfer. The charger can supply a maximum f 1 Amp pwer transfer which typically will fully charge the unit s batteries in 6 hurs. PLUG PACK A standard 2.5mm type DC Pwer scket cnnects t any cmpatible (middle pin +ve) plug pack that can supply 6 vlts at 1 Amps. Fr utside use and IP68 cmpatibility the crrect plug must be used.
