Setting Up a Quote and Processing a Sale Setting up a quote and purchasing a policy is the same process for all products we offer, but with different fields to fill and different cover levels to select. We will use Motor Legal Protection cover for the purpose of this guide. First click the product on the dashboard that you wish to process a quote/policy on. On the first page you will be given a brief cover overview of the product(s), their key cover points and (if applicable) the different cover options with their respective prices, as illustrated below: Brief cover overview Key cover points Total premium for one vehicle including IPT Button to proceed Click the button to proceed on to the client details screen.
On the next page, start by answering whether the customer is a person or company using the dropdown menu. Next enter the customer s personal or company details, enter the postcode and click the Find Address button. Select the address from the dropdown list and proceed to the vehicle details section. Enter the number of vehicles that the customer would like to insure. If there is more than one vehicle, the premium will multiply by the number of vehicles (i.e. two vehicles would be 27.50 x 2 = 55) Next select the policy start date from the date picker and click Next. Side note: You will also notice compliance points and key selling points on the right side of the page. These are useful tools for fulfilling compliance requirements and providing advice on product covers. The next page is the quote summary, here you will be shown the policy information, the customer information, the policy wording & keyfacts and given multiple options to proceed; you can: Print the details on this screen..
