Navigate to the following folder: Local Computer Policy/ Computer Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Windows Components/ Windows Messenger. 3. Double Click Windows Messenger. 4. Double Click on Do not allow Windows Messenger to be run 5. Click on Enable 6. Close the window and restart the computer. Note: This will disable the chat feature of Windows. This is similar to AOL Instant Messenger. Map the network drive The Netpassport issue is also encountered when using EPPLayout to browse a shared folder directly on the network. To minimize this issue, perform the following steps to map the selected network drive: 1. Right mouse click the Start button and select Explore. 2. Select the Tools menu and click on Map Network Drive. 3. Map a selected drive for the shared folder you want to use. If required use the Browse button to locate the shared folder.
