Internet Banking: Getting Started Preparing for upgrade Thank you for your support during the Nedbank upgrade to a NEW Banking System. We trust you will enjoy our upgraded Internet Banking service. As always, rest assured of Nedbank s service promise to you. Getting started 1. Ensure that your e-mail address and cell phone are correct and up to date. Only individual Clients with a valid e-mail address will receive an e-statement. A valid cell phone number is required to receive a One Time Pin (OTP). 2. Should you require more than 90 days transactional history request the statement from your Branch Manager or Relationship Manager. 3. Record the reference number for your Bank Defined Beneficiary eg Town Council. You are required to provide this reference number for payments. First time login 4. The new Internet Banking link is https://www.internetbanking.nedbank.co.sz 5. When you logon, your current Profile number and User ID will be entered as one in the Profile number field as seen below you will be prompted for a new password with your first logon. PAGE 3 of 19

Changes you must be aware of 1. Individual clients with valid e-mail addresses will receive e-statements for Current Accounts. Cheques will not accompany e-statements. Printed statements must be requested at a branch of your choice. 2. Only payments to Swaziland and South Africa are allowed. 3. An OTP is mandatory for sensitive transactions: a. Adding a beneficiary b. Modify beneficiary details c. Once-off payments d. Bank defined payments e. Tax payments 4. Payments to your Investment Account can be done using the Own Account Transfer. New Functionality 1. Future dated payments (Pay Later option). 2. Standing Instructions with various frequencies (SI option). PAGE 4 of 19

On-Line Limits Once-off Limit Will be applied within Payment limits but is not maintained separately Transfer Limits will apply as follows: Own Account Transfers transfers between your own account eg from Savings to Cheque Payment Limits will apply as follows: Bank Defined Payments The beneficiary has been approved by Nedbank and the bank details are maintained by Nedbank Payments to Accounts at This Bank Payments to Nedbank Payments to Other Bank Accounts Payments to any Other Bank including SA Banks When you require updates to any limit the following information is required: The minimum transaction amount The maximum transaction amount The daily limit The monthly limit The effective date of the limit PAGE 5 of 19

System Functions Accounts and balances 1 Click on Accounts main menu 2 Click on Account Summary sub-menu 3 Your Accounts linked to your profile, with respective Account Balances will display On-Line Statements 1 Click on Accounts main menu 2 Click on Account Statement sub-menu 3 Select Account from the dropdown list of accounts linked to your profile 4 Define the Search By criteria from the dropdown list: a. Current Period will provide transactions for the last 30 days, including transactions you made with Today s date b. Previous Period will provide transactions for the last 90 days c. View Last Number of Transactions will provide transactions for the number of transactions you specify d. View Today s Transactions will provide transactions for Today e. View Yesterday s Transactions will provide transactions for the day before f. View Last Number of Days will provide transactions for the number of days you specify. Only 90 days transactions will be available initially g. View Previous Fortnight will provide transactions for the previous 2 weeks h. View Previous Month will provide transactions for the previous month i. If you Specify Period the amount of days between the Date From and Date To cannot exceed 90 days 5 Click on Submit 6 Your Account Statement will display, with various Download Format options (located at the bottom of the screen) PAGE 6 of 19

Credit Card Statements Linked to Your Profile 1 Click on Cards main menu 2 Click on Credit Card Statement sub-menu View Beneficiaries 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click on Beneficiary Maintenance sub-menu 3 Select one Transaction Type from the dropdown list: a. All b. Bank Defined Payments c. Nedbank and Other Banks 4 If you click on Search all your beneficiaries will displayed per Transaction Type in a grid type table in groups of 10. If you have more than 10 beneficiaries you are required to page: a. You have the option to Make Payment to the beneficiary b. You have the option to View Payments made to the beneficiary c. You have the option to Delete the beneficiary d. You have the option to Modify the beneficiary detail 5 If you click on Report Download a list of your beneficiaries are available in a PDF type document PAGE 7 of 19

Add Beneficiaries You must have a valid mobile number registered at Nedbank to receive the OTP for adding a new beneficiary Beneficiaries are divided between beneficiaries with Nedbank and beneficiaries with other Banks and must be added accordingly 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click on Beneficiary Maintenance sub-menu 3 Select one Transaction Type from the dropdown list: Payment to Accounts at This Bank (Nedbank Swaziland account holders); Payments to Other Bank Accounts (Other Banks/ SA account holders) 4 Click on Create Beneficiary if you would like to add a new beneficiary: Nedbank Beneficiary (Payment to Accounts at This Bank): a. Beneficiary ID is a new mandatory field and is a value you choose b. Beneficiary ID must be unique per Transaction Type c. If you provide the beneficiary email or mobile number for payment notifications, please ensure you followed the Beneficiary notification registration process before making a payment to the beneficiary d. Complete Beneficiary Detail and continue to create the beneficiary e. Enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone f. Click Submit Other Bank Beneficiary (Payments to Other Bank Accounts): a. Beneficiary ID is a new mandatory field and is a value you choose b. Beneficiary ID must be unique per Transaction Type c. Making a payment to South Africa will be done in the same manner, but the country and currency will be reflected as South Africa and South African Rand d. If you provide the beneficiary email or mobile number for payment notifications, please ensure you followed the Beneficiary notification registration process before making a payment to the beneficiary e. Complete Beneficiary Detail and continue to create the beneficiary f. Enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone g. Click Submit PAGE 8 of 19

Payment Notification for Beneficiary - Registration This functionality will allow you to send payment notifications for Payment to Accounts at This Bank function, Payments to Other Bank Accounts function, and Multiple Payments function. This functionality is different from the formal Payment Confirmation (proof of payment). 1 Click on Customer Services main menu 2 Click on Alerts sub-menu 3 Select Customer Alerts 4 Select your Customer No from the dropdown list the Customer No is used by Nedbank as an internal reference number 5 Click on Get Alerts 6 Tick the Beneficiary Alert check box. The e-mail address and mobile number you see relates to your details registered at Nedbank 7 Should you require beneficiaries to receive an e-mail notification when making payments to them, tick the E-mail check box 8 Should you require beneficiaries to receive an SMS notification when making payments to them, tick the Mobile Number check 9 Tick both E-mail and Mobile Number if you would like beneficiaries to receive notifications by e-mail or SMS depending on your decision at the time when making a payment to them PAGE 9 of 19

Login Alert - Registration This functionality will allow you to register for a Login alerts. 1 Click on Customer Services main menu 2 Click on Alerts sub-menu 3 Select User Alerts 4 Click on Get Alerts 5 Tick the Login Alert check box. The e-mail address and mobile number you see relates to your details registered at Nedbank 6 Select either Email or SMS delivery method 7 Click on Register PAGE 10 of 19

Payments and Transfers There are various functions available for payments and transfers and these are listed under the Payments Main Menu Terminology Payment and Transfer Types Own Account Transfer Payment to Accounts at This Bank Payments to Other Bank Accounts Bank Defined Payments Multiple Payments Tax Payments Transfers between your own accounts Payment to Nedbank Payment to other banks including SA Banks Payment to Nedbank created beneficiaries Mixed payments to up to 20 beneficiaries Payments to the Revenue Authority. Only the Tax Payment function should be used for making payments to the Revenue Authority Payment Functionality My Statement Description Beneficiary Statement Description Source Account Destination Account Transfer Amount Pay now Pay later Standing Instruction (SI) View Limits The description you would like to see on your statement The description you would like your beneficiary to see on their statement The account you pay from The account you pay to The amount you want to pay out Real time payment Future Dated payment where your account is debited in future and the beneficiary is paid on the future date Series of payments in frequencies and the amount remains unchanged View your approved limits and utilised limits PAGE 11 of 19

Terminology: Payment Functionality Continued Save as Template Capture the payment detail and save No payment is made All your Templates can be viewed on the Transaction Dashboard : Click on View Drafts / Templates Save as Draft Similar to Save as Template but no validations are performed on the information All your Drafts can be viewed on the Transaction Dashboard : Click on View Drafts / Templates. Submit Payment Make your payment Submit Payment and Save Template Make your payment and save the payment detail as a template in quick steps. Existing Template Retrieve a previously saved template, amend the amount and submit the payment. Make New Payment Typically used the first time you make a payment or if you do not want to retrieve previously saved information under a template PAGE 12 of 19

Making a Payment to Your Beneficiary at Nedbank 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click Payment to Accounts at This Bank sub-menu 3 Complete My Statement Description 4 Select the Source Account 5 Click on the search icon for the Beneficiary Account to perform a look-up on the Beneficiary 6 Click on Search to see a list of all the Nedbank beneficiaries you created 7 Select the Beneficiary 8 Tick the Email or Mobile No check box in the Beneficiary Notification if you want to send a payment notification to the Beneficiary 9 Enter the Transfer Amount 10 The Transfer Currency must be the local currency 11 Select Pay Now (default value) 12 Complete Beneficiary Statement Description 13 Click Confirm Once-Off Payment to a Nedbank Accountholder 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click Payment to Accounts at This Bank sub-menu 3 Complete My Statement Description 4 Select the Source Account 5 Enter the Beneficiary Account 6 Tick the E-mail or Mobile No check box in the Beneficiary Notification and complete the E-mail address or Mobile No if you want to send a payment notification 7 Enter the Transfer Amount 8 The Transfer Currency must be the local currency 9 Select Pay Now (default value) PAGE 13 of 19

Once-Off Payment to a Beneficiary at Another Bank 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click Payments to Other Bank Accounts sub-menu 3 Complete My Statement Description 4 Select the Source Account 5 Enter the Beneficiary Name 6 Enter the Beneficiary Account number 7 Tick the E-mail or Mobile No check box in the Beneficiary Notification and complete the E-mail address or Mobile No if you want to send a payment notification 8 Select the Country from the drop-down list This is the country where the account held 9 Enter the Transfer Currency from the drop-down list The country and currency must correspond 10 Enter the Transfer Amount 11 Select Pay Now (default value) 12 Click on the search icon for the Beneficiary Bank Code to perform a look-up on the Beneficiary s Bank 13 Complete Beneficiary Statement Description 14 Select the Template Access Type Private from the drop-down list 15 Click Submit Payment 16 Click Confirm 17 Enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone 18 Click Submit Making a payment to South Africa will be done in the same manner, but the country and currency will be reflected as South Africa and South African Rand PAGE 15 of 19

Bank Defined Payment First time capture 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click Bank Defined Payments sub-menu 3 Complete My Statement Description 4 Click on the search icon for the Beneficiary Name to perform a look-up on the Beneficiary 5 Click on Search to see a list of all the beneficiaries Nedbank created 6 Select the Beneficiary 7 If Nedbank has listed the Email address you can tick the Beneficiary Email check box if you want to send a payment notification to this Beneficiary 8 Enter the Transfer Amount 9 Select Pay Now (default value) 10 Complete Beneficiary Statement Description. This description must be your reference or account number with the beneficiary 11 Click Submit Payment and Save Template 12 Save the template with an easy description 13 The template will be saved and the Payment will be made 14 When you make your next payment choose to make a payment from an existing template Payment to the Water Services Capture your 9-digit reference number in the Beneficiary Statement Description field First Time Payment: 1 Click Bank Defined Payments 2 Click existing template and select a saved template 3 All information should be displayed on the screen 4 Verify if the detail is correct 5 Click Submit Payment 6 Click Confirm 7 Enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone 8 Click Submit PAGE 16 of 19

Multiple Payments Multiple payments can only be made to all beneficiaries - Once-off payments are not allowed 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click Multiple Payments sub-menu 3 Complete My Statement Description where applicable 4 Select the Transaction from the drop-down list 5 Click on the search icon for the Destination Account to perform a look-up on the Beneficiary 6 Click on Search to see a list of all the beneficiaries according to the Transaction you selected 7 Select the Beneficiary 8 Tick the Email or Mobile No check box in the Beneficiary Notification if you want to send a payment notification to the Beneficiary 9 Enter the Amount 10 Complete Beneficiary Statement Description 11 Click Add 12 Your Payment Instruction is listed 13 To add another payment instruction for another beneficiary, repeat the above steps 14 You are able to combine different Transaction types 15 You are allowed to add up to 20 payment instructions 16 Select Pay Now (default value) 17 Click Submit Payment 18 Click Confirm 19 If prompted, enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone 20 Click Submit PAGE 17 of 19

Multiple Payments Continued Multiple Payments is not a separate transaction type It is a different way of making a payment If you combine Payments to Accounts at This Bank and Payments to Other Bank Accounts, you would search for those transactions separately You would not search for the transaction type Multiple Payments Credit Card Payments 1 Click on Cards main menu 2 Click on Credit Card Payments sub-menu 3 Complete the detail and Submit the payment 4 Click Confirm Tax Payment (for Payments to the Revenue Authority) 1 Click on Payments main menu 2 Click on Tax Payments sub-menu 3 Capture the Tax Payment details 4 Verify the Tax Payment details 5 Enter the OTP received via SMS on your mobile phone 6 Click Submit PAGE 18 of 19

Has Your Transaction Been Successfully Processed? Search the Transaction Dashboard as follows: 1 Click on Transaction Activities main menu 2 Click on Transactions sub-menu 3 Select Initiated Transactions 4 Look for your Transaction Type 5 If the status of the transaction is rejected, you can click on the status link, and select the E-Banking Reference No link On the transaction detail screen scroll down to the Note column to view the reason for the rejection Find your Payment Confirmation (Proof of payment) 1 Click on Transaction Activities main menu 2 Click on Transactions sub-menu 3 Select Initiated Transactions 4 Payment Confirmations are only available for Transaction Type with Status Completed 5 Find the Transaction Type for which you want to Print or Download the Payment Confirmation 6 On the Transaction List, select the link in the E-Banking Reference No. column for your Transaction which you want to Print of Download the Payment Confirmation 7 Click on Payment Confirmation 8 View the Payment Confirmation with options to: Print the payment confirmation, for your own record; or Download the payment confirmation, and email to your payment recipient PAGE 19 of 19
